I picked up a super clean JRX Pro chassis that I'm going to modernise some, with XX front suspension and a retofit XX tranny.
I have the retrofit tranny-I just need an accurate template of the cut I need to make in the chassis for it to fit.
Can anyone help?

I had good luck with the dremel for cutting the hole for the retro trans on a molded chassis. I scratched out the outline with an x-acto knife, then I used the drywall cutter attachment with a suitable bit. It worked really well, the plastic is easy to cut through. I have not tried on a grpahite chassis yet, that would probably be a little harder on the bit.

I used my Dremal drill press, I set the depth with a flat grinding stone and moved the chassis around till all of the material was removed and with the drill press you will not go through the bottom of the chassis.

Thanks for the PDF you e mailed me,Rick.
I really need accurate measurements in millimeters, from the bulkhead and tranny holes in the Pro chassis.
Anyone?
