Tore the car down and trying to think up some kind of motor mount. Can't believe the weight difference without the nitro motor and cage. The car is in very nice shape.RPM parts all over.Shiny cvd's.Looking for front foams to match the rears.

A. Man that's cool!
B. You've probably seen this, but the TC4 or TC5 motor mounts work nicely.
I used the TC5, but in hindsight would choose the TC4. It seems a little more versatile.
I had a brief love affair with Nitro, but if an engine never finds it's way into my R/C tool shed again, it will be too soon. I am hanging on to one engine though just in case...

Actually, looking at the pics again(and in a very accelerated state, aka downgraded due to dial-up

) you have little real estate to work with. You may have to mount the motor mount to a seperate piece of aluminuminum

and then mount the extra piece to the chassis. That way it's stable enough to put the power down.

Been awhile since I messed with this thing but I got the motor mounted.I know!Looks pretty rough right now .Gotta clean up the welds and paint the mount.Used a losi motor mount tacked to a chunk of body metal. The battery is gonna have to lay on edge along the passenger side of the chassis.Other than that, the electrics should fit alright. I dont think I'll be using the cage.Try to keep the weight down. I also got new front and rear wheels on it. More pics to come. Thanks for lookin.
