does anyone know if the traxxas 775 motor uses the same mount as a 540/550motor? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXWWG7&P=Z

even if it does fit, it's illegal to mount a traxxas motor in an rc10. you will be convicted and thrown in jail.

And if your lucky they will just ban you and not come kick your a$$?

i used to consider him a friend, then he goes and does something like that

calm down, i was thinking of puting it in my stampede but if it fits in a rc10 it should fit in a stampede and most people here know rc10s thats why i asked that..but i dont understand why you guys are so against traxxas stuff in a rc10? i tell all my friends (all back yard bashers) just go on ebay and get traxxas electronics there the cheapest..they do and they have no problems..i would not want to run a 775 in a rc10 with a nice motor plate cause any little crash may bend it..but now that i think of it ,i may have an extra ,cut up 6gear plate i could use.all this bashing of the rc10 idea is making me want to do it.instead of stampede i may be thinking 6 gear rc10 street car with 775

Well no kidding... if all the screws were tight, there would be no reason to be up. You'd be done.

I've actually had my kids wake me in the morning at my workbench ......

I've been getting the look every night for the last couple of weeks.

And to all offended parties ha ha I COULD NOT HELP IT! would it make you feel any better if I said the silver can Tamiya motor performs better and I prefer that?

I think this thread has inspired me to run a Tamiya 380 motor in an RC10 at the Vintage Nationals.
