Hi

Ive just put a stickpack lipo in my xx4 after looking at pics of others and it seems to be very tight against the motor, even touching it. And it doesn't matter how much i mess with it I cant get enough clearance.

Any ideas that might help? Anyone had the same problem or know how to sort it?

Thanks guys

Matt

What lipo pack are you trying to fit in there?? usuall they fit the smaller 3200 to 3800 Orion stick packs, or were you talking about saddle pack lipos??

Yeah, I think you would have to use the smaller Orion Packs in order for them to work,

Ask JKRacing any questions concerning fitment of these lipos.

I have come to discover, it also depends on your gearing. If your running tall gearing (like 26/82 or higher), the motor is moved back just enough to touch. I found this out by trying to gear a 13.5 brushless, I will be getting the AE 72 tooth spur so I can hit the right gearing.

Post a picture of your Yungtong pack also, I know the Orion packs are rounded on the edges, I think yours is squared off, this will result in the pack being pushed forward just a hair and possibly interfering with the motor. The problem lies in the rear left corner of the chassis, it is rounded, a squared off pack will be pushed forward to fit.
