Re: 17.5T stock class racer build
Good looking build ZAC_F71! I like the big bores and spring setup a lot. Nice job on the batt tray also. It looks like you're heading in the right direction to be competitive. I have this thread saved for future reference. Thanks for sharing! No problem man! I weighed it today - full race weight wa...

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions
If your going to race, where they do tech the weight, be careful of over-indulging in light weight parts. A stock re-re worlds with shorty battery may be under weight to begin with. Going super light weight isnt always the best. Sometimes, a little heft in the car helps it stay planted more. There ...

1. Welcome! 2. What's your budget? 3. Do you want to stay vintage or go modern? 4. This hobby is not expensive by any standard unless you're talking about 1/5th scale but then those are just ridiculous.. Post up some pics of your buggy! - My vintage RC10 is simply a cruiser, I never run it after res...

Re: My $100 Losi XX and XXX Kinwalds
It was a dog with the 27t arm, but now with that 15t arm it HAULS ASS! haahahahhaa I bet it would give a modern buggy a run for it's money.. Paid $8 for the Kinwald can NIP, and $15 for the 15t arm NIP, $40 for a bunch of misc Trinity motor parts and brushes..isles1 wrote:That motor

Re: 17.5T stock class racer build
Thanks! I was just messing around last night honestly.. I found some plastic B4 rear hub carriers and sized them up to the RC10 arm, simply swapped the aluminum one's off one of my B4's.. will have to post mine in there once it's a roller

Re: B4 parts interchange
B4 Team aluminum carriers on my 17.5 RC10 build, it has B4 CVD's in it now.. Also found out the stock camber turnbuckle will work as well in the outer holes on the World's bulkhead BUT to use the inner holes, you need another pair of front camber turnbuckles, which is the route I plan to go.. http:/...

Re: 17.5T stock class racer build
Small update! Found Lunsford titanium hinge pins on eBay, bought them, and the carbon fiber parts are set to show up Thursday or Friday.. Found out that the B4.1 uses the same rear bearing carrier spacing at the RC10. So I set out to fit a pair of B4 Team aluminum rear carriers on my RC10 - simply d...

Re: B4 parts interchange
Here is what I came up with - drill the carrier with an 1/8" bit, file fit the pin. No other mods needed it will bolt on - thanks to a B2 thread I found AE 9760 B44 dog bones appear to be 61mm pin to pin, the World's are 54mm, and B4's are 65mm Now on to turnbuckles LOL I'm sure that will be 10...
