Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
I was preserving and sorting some photos and I came up with a very small amount of my vehicles, through the decades. I thought I would share a couple that were still in decent enough shape. Makes me wish I had taken more pictures back then, I'm realizing how many I don't even have photos of, now. ht...

Didn't find one for the title of the thread, only individual posts..Thanks though! Under the edit for the o...

That is looking great. The TQ cars are one of the most interesting variants, I think.

Re: New member from Fort Worth, Texas
Welcome, looks like a pair of great projects. That stealth CE is a great little car, but for the old school shelf piece you are wanting, I think your imagining a first gen car. A Cadillac at the latest. I'm sure someone would be interested in the stealth CE, if you were looking to pick up a cadillac...

Re: Hello, noob here!
Welcome! Your story and motivation is eerily similar to my own. Post up a thread with pictures of that graphite in the vintage section. Then start looking at new ESC's and Lipo batteries, haha. Welcome! That was my story a couple years ago too. Before you know if you'll have a bunch of them, they mu...

Re: Cheapo motor testing
Slap in a different motor. The ESC is already calibrated so it shouldn't take anything more than a motor swap to see if that was the culprit. Agreed. I'm going to try a Leopard 2180kv 16.5T motor that I got for just under $25. I had really good luck with their 9T version of the same motor. https://...

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
Thanks. I wanted to fiddle with the gold pans a bit and I had to come to my senses and get rid of most of them though. I kept the upgraded #7011 10T and the T4. So I still have the bashers. I just sold the last one, that was just sitting on the shelf; and a memorial to the all old RC10's that had to...

Re: Jimbo302's buggies
It looks like I am going to concentrate effort on the Stealth CE car, so I will modify the title of the thread appropriately. I rummaged through a few parts bins and and it looks like I might have enough to upgrade the transmission to B4 slipper and make sure the diff is good, as well. I also picked...

Nothing to soldering, anyone can do it.
Set up a well lit flameproof workstation and pick up a set of helping hands with your wire and iron, easy money.

Great review.
And what a perfect little world's car. I bet it is a sweet track machine.

Re: cleaning up old tires
Jwscab,
I agree , undiluted simple green is awesome stuff for cleaning.
Tire glue is a pain. I've tried nail polish remover, acetone, boiling water, Xacto knife. They all help, just sometimes not as much as I needed.

Re: Planned RC10 restorations
The gold pan (and box) are the stealth championship car. Basically , the last gold pan made, if I recall. It is from '91 or '92. A lot of those came with the black plastics. Very nice car, and a reasonably modern and capable design too. I dig the 10T, here are mine: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic...

Reviving a Stealth CE and other RC10's
I impulse bought a couple more gold pan's to add to the fleet to accompany my original Cadillac and figured I would post them up. I'm certain i will have a few questions while fixing them. My first car will likely stay as is. Several guys on this site helped me get this one back in decent shape and ...
