Re: Help me make my RC10T great again

I didn't know Anderson PowerPole had different colors. Thanks for letting me know. :) I've never used them, but I have seen a lot of people that are really happy with them. I've been looking for some old school type connectors for my T2 which will be using a vintage esc, brushed motor, and servo. I...

Re: Help me make my RC10T great again

That's a tidy setup. I really like the tires. The esc/motor plugs...are they power poles? I've only seen them in red and black.

Re: Help me make my RC10T great again

Nice parts list! Do you have any pics of it all installed? I think a 17.5 BL motor or a 19T brushed is perfect for these older models.

Re: Ebay RC10T2 resto

I picked up a motor for the build this weekend. It's a Trinity Speed Gems 19x1 Pro-Spec with locked 24 degree timing. This is a limited run of Trinity's Speed Gem series of motors. These are not in the Trinity catalog. There were only less than 100 made, which makes it one of the rarest of the Gems....

Re: Ebay RC10T2 resto

Well, I thought I would be doing the body next, but I ran across a sweet deal on a new Novak 610RV esc:

Re: Mark Pavidis 1994 Florida Winter Champ RC10T

I would think that Pavidis was doing some parts testing for Lett's CAD-developed T2 project, hence the thicker rear tower and GT steering bellcranks. If this was happening in '94, it would lead up to the release of the T2 in '95. I was just looking at the rear shock tower on my T2, and it's pretty t...

Sorry I haven't tried them. I have researched ceramic vs steel bearings, and I came up with that the majority who have tried ceramic say that the minimal gains are not worth the extra cost.

Re: The year was 1992 in Utah

Welcome EMC. Nice RC10T you have there. I'm kind of in the same debate about what electronics to choose for my T2. I got a Hobbywing Justock 17.5 esc/motor combo for my RC10 Worlds Car. It's a quality BL system, and not too overly expensive for something like an RC10. The thing is, the World's Car r...

Re: New member here!.

Welcome vintagercer. This IS a great place with lots of knowledgeable folks. You've got some really cool old school r/c's. I just got into restoring vintage. I started with an RC10 World's car re-release, and now I'm in the middle of restoring an RC10T2. As of late, I've taken a liking to vintage Ky...

Thanks blk05wrx. I will be starting back on this project very shortly, starting with the body. I would like to have a body painted and autographed by Andy Jacobson. Then onto the wheels and tires.

Re: Ebay RC10T2 Resto

I guess I need to rename this thread to RC10T2 "slow-build" resto. I've been super busy lately, so I haven't had a lot of time to move forward with this project. I did however receive a T2 decal sheet from shoman24v. They look super awesome! Thanks again Walid! http://i1066.photobuck...
