Reedy 1000z+ trouble?
On a full charge pack, my daughter's Reedy 1000z+ goes 100% for 5-7 seconds then drops to about 50% max throttle. It continues to do this throughout the pack. She is having fun driving this re-release, but this is getting frustrating. As info i bought this about November 2016 and had it in my old B3...

Re: JR Propo X-756
Update: I purchased a CR2032 battery holder with leads. Opened the case this morning about 0530 and removed the board and old battery tabs, sodered the leads to the board, installed the new battery, reinstalled the board. Put everything back together. Hardest part of that was getting the direct mode...

Re: worlds spur gear wobble problem ?
I took a short video of my original RC10 graphite w installed after stealth transmission from that era, 1990??? It has a Robinson Racing 84T spur installed. Thing rolls smooth as a Swiss watch. It's silly.
I'd post the video if I knew how.

Re: worlds spur gear wobble problem ?
Took the tranny apart and installed into a 1991 stealth case. Still some play in the top shaft. Has to be sub standard bearings... I can live with it so I put it back in the 10T case I purchased aftermarket for the Re-Re. Top shaft runout was fine too.. Spur wobbles like a b!t@h still. Thing is just...

Re: worlds spur gear wobble problem ?
I just built one with my daughter and it's having the same issue. Any resolution to this so far?
Also seems like the topshaft has slop in it.
...and ours came without the felt between the tranny and motor plate so dirt can go right in. What's up with that?

Actually, if you use the stock steering stuff, I believe that white oval piece is the servo saver.[/quote]yellowdatsun wrote:

Re: Servos, Hitec vs. Savox.
Application dictates requirements and in some cases warrants the extra expense. For running in the yard, I went with an old HITEC HS-425BB. These have been around forever, are cost effective, low draw, and have plenty of speed and torque for my application. Racing competitively would likely dictate ...

Re: Servo Survey
I've settled on a HITEC HS 452BB. Performance far exceeds my Futaba S148 and JR NES507. Price is reasonable to me and I always wanted to try a HITEC. Next big question... My daughter will be building and learning to drive a ReRe RC10 worlds as her 1st RC. I've been letting her learn on my old RC10 B...

Would like to hear from racers and back yard guys alike.

Re: Tekin BC112C questions
So far things have been working great. With the NiMh I njust leave the power flex off and charge at 5.0 I broke out an old NiCd and charged if on power flex at 3.2 Amps. I can't believe it worked well too. Sanyo 1700 scrc. Cool that these still even work. Best part of all this is watching my daughte...

Re: JR Propo X-756
Thanks for the inputs guys. I'll look into this and see if it's something I can do myself. I'm fairly proficient at repairs.
I'll try not to be too bubble wrapped. Here, hold my beer..... lol.
