Re: Club 10 Racer

The dual bearing hubs are very hard to find, cant belive that guy had 8 sets and I missed all of them!! Great looking car BTW!! Should make a great racer., I know you most likely want to keep it all schumacher but you could consider running RC10 front hubs and carriers, giving you more wheel and ti...

Here's an article with Tamiya's f1 rc timeline http://www.vrcmag.com/VRC_Online/VRC_003_guppy/pubData/mobile/index.htm#/76/ Page 78 is The Wiliams Fw14 Renalt model 58105 which looks to be your car. An F102 kit. I have just picked up a Tamiya F1 car of a similar era. But it's not listed in this arti...

Thanks Alex. Looks like I would have to do the same wheel trimming but the extra bearing definitely looks worth while. The hunt begins.

Re: Club 10 Racer

My favorite cars are Schumachers which works out well in the Uk. If you can stomach paying the postage the Cougar mk1, 2 and club 10 have come up quite regularly on ebay uk since I've been looking these last few months. I have the single bearing hubs at the moment. But would like the upgrade to dual...

Re: Club 10 Racer

I had a go at dyeing some wheels today, it proved to be a satisfying experience. I followed the instruction, adding, vinegar, detergent, half the bag of dye and a kettle of boiling water. It took about 15 mins and they look a nice deep red 8)

Re: Schumacher Cat 98

that will be a nice car, good luck with build.

schumie-spares.co.uk and thirteenracing.com spring to mind
If it uses the same pro shocks as my Cat 2000EC Schumacher racing-cars.com have some spares left but not enough to build a complete shock.
