I do hope Tamiya re-re the Sand Scorcher.....we could then all get one at a sensible price!

Wow, that is one extremely nice looking TS!!! Love the paintjob and the surroundings seems to be perfect for that kind of fun! Wish I had the possibility to drive around in such places here in Hamburg :) Great pictures!!

Nice find. BITD the B3 was my first buggy. MOmo Oh great, many thanks for the info!! :) I am sure this has be...

Re: B2 - B3 mix?

Looks like this car was originally a B2 but now has mostly b3 parts on it! It would be nice to see the top plate and inside the chassis, to see if it has the mounts for a sway bar??? That would tell it all! Very nice car anyway! Edit: Spoke too soon LOL! It is a B2! I would try to make it back into...

Re: B2 - B3 mix?

Some more pics here! :) I did find some more loose parts that appears to be from the B2. It seems like he really changed it into a B3. The rearshock mount that I found is slightly smaller than the other one that is mounted now, the front top-plate looks a little different, steeringblocks & block...

Re: RC10B2 RUNNER BUILD

This thread is very useful for me and the pictures really helps alot since I have a (what I thought) B3, but it appears to be a B2 that has been upgraded to a B3.
Great pictures and a great looking car, thx for posting :)

Re: B2 - B3 mix?

Looks like a B3 with a B2 body. -Todd It has Aluminum shock caps, those were on early b2's. He might have converted it from a B2 to B3 at some point. The rear arms have 2 holes, I thought the later cars had a 3rd outer hole added. Ahhhh ok! :D Makes sense to me too since I found the 2-hole frontshoc...

B2 - B3 mix?

Hello all! :) Since I am no RC10-expert at all I thought that I would ask You in this forum. I have been looking for a B3 for a while in a somewhat good shape, a "runner". A friend of mine here in Hamburg had one, a B3 he said. It looked good and we made a trade: (he got an old, not comple...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher with Monster Beetle-body

Thx a lot all! :D Yes, the Beetle hardbody is stunning (all 3 of them, the Scorcher, Monster Beetle and the Blitzer Beetle). I just notice that I wrote "Monster Beetle" in the title but it is a Blitzer Beetle body!!! Sorry! I assume it is because I am restoring a Monster Beetle rig...

Tamiya Sand Scorcher with Monster Beetle-body

Hi all :) Although my heart starts pounding more & more for the RC10, I thought I could post this Sand Scorcher. It has a MB-body and the chassiparts have been beadblasted. I painted it with 2 different grey (German Grey and Hazel Grey) since I just wanted to try something that is not really &qu...
