Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2017 ** - Winner - Lonestar

Thank you for the kind positive comments. I did have the chassis shortened many years ago so that it was the correct wheel base , but unfortunately I found that it upset the handling too much on the track. The current configuration was the best compromise I could do. I ma about to do a new body as I...

Track action photos

Finally got the chance to have a drive on the track today, was going perfectly until right at the end I got alittle off line on the back straight & hit a steel fence post head on! took a chunk out of the guard, blew off a headlight & knocked off a camber adjustment rod. It's all fine & w...

RC10 Veedub

been missing my rc10 beetle after going back the standard chassis length & RC10 body so I thought that it was time to have another go at making an RC10 vw. This time I didn't shorten the chassis, so I had to try really hard to get the proportions right, so I cut the body down as much as possible...

Re: Bought it. Couldn't hold of any longer!!!!

[quote="Mad Racer"]Oh well I think it's great value with all the little extras that it comes with. This one will have to stay standard to be able to run in the vintage festivial since my other shots are too modified now. In what way is it too modified? don't we all just race either stock o...

Re: Blitzer Beetle Xmas 2011

Just some 3racing shocks as they were blue to match the paint job better.

I do have another set of wheels with Proline M3 sticky rubber for the track.

Sand scorcher nose cone was a pain to fit, also lowered the front body post 5mm & cut the guards back.
