Re: BBT Vindicator Sprinter Build
It's great to see this going together, makes me want to tear mine down and start over. I may need to make my own castor wedges though - I got nothing.

It's virtually unused and I got it pretty cheap. I had a third but sold it.

Re: New to me car options
Reliability just isn't the greatest because the engine, fuel system, and exhaust system are so complex to meet emissions standards, but that's true of most modern diesel passenger cars. I have a good friend who just unloaded his 2010 VW TDI because of the above issues. All the cool features in the ...

Re: GOT ME A TRAXXAS WILDCAT
Interesting! Those look like the same adjustable friction shocks that are used on the Traxxas "The Cat". Probably not the best choice if you were going to run that car.
On the other hand it's a very unique project and looks like you had some fun with it, which is what it's all about!

My wife says that the only people who are surprised by the number of cars they have is themselves. I believe she said this for my benefit.

Re: COUNTING CARS:)
As above, does this include complete or completed cars or projects and potential projects? I think I have about 50 complete cars and maybe half that in project form.

Re: Bru-Line super system wheels and hubs
I have a set of the track-adjust wheels too, for a Kyosho 4WD. I plan on mounting them on an Optima project.Hcp22 wrote:Parma had a similar system back in 87’

This thread is one of the reasons I can't concentrate on my projects. Makes me want to build one of these cars! Nice job on this one. I love this chassis.

Re: RedScampi Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday, Gary! I'm currently in Mexico--just finished watching the Fifa World Cup soccer game between Mexico and host country, Brazil...which ended in a scoreless tie...and will raise a "cerveza con limon" for you! It's not very often you get to watch a once-every-4-years soccer to...

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
Vintage butchery is all good, when done right. When you OWN the parts, YOU be da []D [] []v[] []D. 8) Ha hah! Funny Marc! I don't feel too bad about the possible chopping up of these wheels since I really have little use for truck rims. I decided to concentrate on the buggies because well, I can't ...

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
That's the hard part, do you have the wheels yet? Got them yesterday. Was disappionted to see that they are truck rims. I guess I got a little trigger happy on the auction which stated they are for rc10, but failed to mention their width. But, I have an idea to make them work. Hope no-one here will...
