Re: New RC10 day.
I was eight when I got an RC10 for Christmas. The car was able to withstand whatever I put it through. I say buy a new battery, change the plugs on the ESC and power it up and see how it runs. If something breaks, parts are available. If it doesn't power up, you can replace the electronics for pret...

Re: Marui "Hunter"
Great find! That looks much better than the one I got a few years back. It took me quite a bit of work to clean it up, and a couple of generous members helped me find the tires, wheels, body and decals. Post pics when you get it cleaned up, or better yet, post pics while you restore it! :D mini-DSC0...

Re: Finally found a Mid SE. (Project)
Mids are really awesome, and underappreciated in my opinion. I have one restored and one in about the same state as yours. The front bumper is the pricey part on these! Good luck with your project, looks fun!

Re: Bearrickster's SRB thread
Rick I think it looks badass with the skinnys up front. Way more scale than wide ones would be anyway.

Looks fantastic! I'd love to have a dedicated shed like that. You could actually shorten up the planks a bit so they don't protrude past the noses of the cars. Not sure if that would look better or not, just a thought.

Re: Bearrickster's SRB thread
I know ho that is I dont have a job!! but think how great that Super Champ would look with a motor and some scale wheels. Funny you mention that. I'm really considering letting go of one of my Champs. One is restored (needs a new bumper and a couple of little things finished, the other is new built...

Re: Gary gets a Scorp!
Thanks very much for the comments guys. This is another one of the "favorites". Admittedly I have a lot of favorites. Special thanks to Hcp22 for the info on the hop up parts! Unfortunately the gearbox looks very stock inside, but very, very clean. :D I am really considering taking ...

Re: Bearrickster's SRB thread
This is looking really great Rick. As I told you , it might get me into scale rc yet! :P come on Gary this is right up your alley, if I can do it you sure can. All a matter of time, money and motivation my friend! Mostly the money I think. Spent a bunch of cash on siding, a roof and paint for...

Gary gets a Scorp!
Hey guys, I've been away from RC for nearly a year. Thought I was done with it and came close to selling all my cars. :( One of the things that stopped me was the sheer volume, and having to deal with the packing. I was also somewhat afraid of flooding the market. My wife also stopped me becau...

That does it. I resisted the urge (so far) to buy a re-re RC10 but I'm really going to have to get one of these!

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
The chassis piece in the second pic looks like a Traxxas "The Cat" or a Spirit electronics cover. The gear cover looks to me like one for an Astute or Nissan King Cab.Phin wrote:Some stuff I would appreciate ID help with.
