Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Made a couple rc videos. Ordered some add-ons for my turtle labs workstation. Ordered YET another Durango I didn't need (but it's one i didn't have). Sorted some of my bulk hardware to make it easier to find and keep track of.

Re: RC10 based dirt oval car thread.
I am bumping this thread, after a couple of minutes, because I too am looking for inspiration. I bought and paid for a Kranzel about a month ago, but the seller decided he wanted the car and my money, so had to go through that fight. While waiting for it, I got excited about it and really wanted to...

Re: RC10 based dirt oval car thread.
Back when my son started racing dirt oval he began with a stock B4. First race night out he hit a pole and snapped the chassis. So I built him this monstrosity out of old parts that were recovers from a fire. He raced this heavy beast and was finishing top 3 every week but just couldn't pull off a w...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not exactly rc but I bought a new light/tripod,camera mount to use with the rc related videos I have started making. My old setup had a 8" ring light but my camera blocked about 30% or more of the light. The new setup has an 18" ring light so there won't be any lighting issues, or at least...

Re: Do vintage batteries for display leak over time?
Here are the Team Associated cell place holders I mentioned previously. I don't know it you can still find them but they would not be very hard to make. cut some metal disks to glue on the ends and shrink wrap them as you see fit.

Re: Do vintage batteries for display leak over time?
Maybe there is a market there for someone to exploit. Manufacture tiny metal can sized like a NiCad but have the "positive terminal" be a plug. Use the plug to add BBs or lead or whatever to weight it properly. People could print or buy the decals they want for their application. there ha...
