Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

The ASC9911 B44.2 rear center bone is a perfect fit. Just a couple mm longer. Great suggestion. Pics of ASC 9911 bone next to worlds rere kit ASC 6371 (ASC9760 in manual). I paired the ASC 9911 with the 3/16 axle. It's a sweet driver. Two battery runs and no issues at all.

Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

Super info regarding the OG worlds ball stud location. I had no idea! Easy to fix a couple different ways. That certainly explains why the turnbuckles appear too short. Just thought I'd share a few pics. The B44.2 center bone is coming Saturday which probably means Monday. I hate waiting the extra t...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

Yea, I moved to a short wheel base and put in a little more negative camber to bring the bone in. Both helped but not much. Not to mention, I want the long wheelbase and to be able to adjust camber where I want. I also like having a lot of droop but that isn't helping. I agree the geometry should be...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

I'm using the rere 2.2 worlds wheels on the CE. I have a B4.1 and test fit those wheels but the offset is wrong and the B4 wheel rubs the shock. The worlds 2.2 wheels are a better fit. Hopefully the B44.1 center rear shaft (ASC9911) is just a few mm longer and will be the ticket. There are few ways ...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

I'm not sure about the original square RC10 hub vs, the rere worlds RC10 hub vs, the RPM hub? Perhaps one would work better. Also considered a B4 hub but the B4 hub is different, wider I think... I have all three RC10 hubs on hand and an extra RPM B4 hub. last night I almost tried to fit the worlds ...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

I'm using three of the thick shock downstops ASC 6466 in the rear shocks. They are built per the 1992 RC10 CE manual. They are likely the .125 (1/8") spacer but I'm not sure. First, I'll try the b44.2 center bone ASC9911. I'll report back with pics of how they fit. Thanks for the advice :D You ...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVDs on a CE

That pic is after it slipped out. It'll go back in the outdrive and drive for a bit. But is still too short and would come out again if driven for a few minutes around tight corners. I have three shims on the inside and will try to add a few more to find the right fit. I suppose I could add a fourth...

Re: Worlds rerelease CVDs on a CE

Thanks for the fast reply and advice. Glad to know it's a known issue. I think it was the B44 bones that were recommend as a better fit. ASC9760 but I'm not sure. Can someone confirm?

Worlds rerelease CVAs on a CE

I installed these rerelease worlds CVAs on my championship edition and they appear to be a little short. During the first run it popped out like this. Does it look like they are not set up correctly? Are people successfully using the worlds CVAs on older RC10s.

Re: novak explorer 2 wire identify help!!

FYI-my local hobby shop has a guy who will solder new wires on old ESC's. Maybe yours does too. I can solder lots of stuff but not escs, lol

on your esc, the short wires are for battery and long ones are for motor.

Re: Newly acquired RC10, but what model is it?

It appears the shock towers have been shaved and nice titanium turnbuckles are installed.

Re: Deans connectors

Really great advice for the OP! Only other thing is to make sure you do not short the lipo battery wires. A nicad could take a small touching of the wires, a lipo is more sensitive, plus nicads were usually empty when soldered on. I suggest taping over one of the lipo wires at all times to eliminate...
