Re: RC10 B4 Stealth Build

nice!

i picked up a used b4 last week (set up for dirt oval, it looks like it may have been raced once)
i need to strip her down to see how she ticks aswell.

this is my first modern buggy, most of my stuff is all vintage or re-released.

Re: My re-re Grasshopper story & upgrades

thats the kit, and yup you need the hardware. team crp split up all there kits. i also got their frog shock front shock mounts, when i went to install it i found out the hard way that i needed their harware kit. lol the fx10 a arm mounts are a little long, you have to trim them. you'll see when you ...

as you can see from the pic, the included upper links are too long. i made new ones from threaded 4/40 rod and ball ends.

i'll see if i can get a completed pic.

Re: i guess i'm the latest "new guy"

i'm already there bigjeep! i'm up to 10 cars, lipo/brushless all that jazz lol. i'm still mostly vintage though, the only newer cars i have are the b4 i just scored, a tamiya dt02 (what a waste of time) and a tamiya m03 and ff02. the rest are tamiya's from when i was a kid. i'm trying to stay away f...

Re: My re-re Grasshopper story & upgrades

nice little hopper you have there.

if you really want it to handle try out crp's fx10 front suspension upgrade.
it's not an exact fit, it needs to be trimmed a bit but it really helps out the front end.

i'll get a pic of mine for ya.

Re: i guess i'm the latest "new guy"

Re: Houge Enterprises chassis

i had that chassis and the trailing arms bitd. it was a great set up IMO.
a beastly set up to say the least, very thick chassis and the trailing arms lasted for years, never broke.

i miss that one alot.

Re: i guess i'm the latest "new guy"

thanks. i've been looking at all the gold pans on ebay.

i'm going to see a friend later today that has a ton of rc10's that he got from a mutual friend who passed away.

i'm hoping a nice gold pan is in there, i'm pretty sure there is.
