Re: Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2
I am very familiar with those pictures... i have been drooling over them since the first day I signed up here... they are all over the net, by the way. I have a feeling my SQ will look a lot like that when done. As soon as I find a T-4, I will be complete. I am currently trying to find a battery jig...

Re: Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2
Thanks for your opinion... Since these electronics will probably be in the car forever, and never taken out to be sold as "mint" again, it may be cooler to solder up and wire it up like it was going to be the car's first day at the track. Hopefully more people chime in! I don't want to scr...

Re: Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2
I certainly am... Even though I am pretty good with an airbrush, I am having a pro paint it for me. The thought of screwing up the paint job on a NIP original body stresses me out just thinking about it....

Re: Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2
Haven't had a chance to put the original spur gear on. That is how the car came from the original owner.

Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2
My JRX2 is ALMOST ready to be completed. I just received some of the innards that will be going in. All of them brand new in package. Looking at these things sitting here in their packages, it really seems like a shame to open them. It's almost like I need 3 of everything, 1 NIP, 1 new but opened an...

Re: Futaba S148 Servo Release Date?
Ok , thanks! So i guess my question is, for my restore buggy, would a new one work for "period correct" electronics or no?

Re: New Losi 22!
I can tell you from years of racing Dirt Oval, that on a high bite track the mid motor will be dominant- but it does take a vastly different set-up approach than a rear motor in regards to front and rear toe, spring rates and roll centers. It can be made to change directions way faster than a rear ...

Re: New Losi 22!
I just got my re-painted body back yesterday, need to post up some pics. Cpt...looks good, I've been hesitant to try the mid motor set up, unless I was running mod. I just dont want to loose any bit of an advantage running non-boosted 17.5. 4 gears = just a touch more drag (IMHO). The extra idler g...
