Thanks! My instruction manual just doesn't break down the assemblies very well.

.71 shock bodies

Does anyone know if the .71 hard anodized shock bodies are available by themselves? No one seems to have any, and I can't find a part number. It's probably around and I'm just missing it.

One day, I'll pick one of these up. That rear suspension has always interested me. Good work!

as nice as it is to look at sealed, rare, nip parts, it's even better to actually use them. :)

Shock pivot balls

Hey guys! What are you using for shock pivot balls for the Team Cars? Are you using the newer Associated versions, RPM's delrin pivots or just finding new old stock on ebay? Which one do you like best?

Thanks!

As far as I know, they don't charge until the items ship. You can cancel your backorders by viewing your account online. I have a Viper body on backorder too.

Yeah, nice cars. I'm restoring a Turbo Optima SE at the moment. It's coming along pretty nice. Thankfully, I've run across some good deals. For a while there, everyone went nuts on ebay buying wayyy overpriced stuff from a single seller. Crazy.

Wow, never knew about Avid. I've used Boca Bearing in the past. They have a 99 cent bearing store plus free shipping if you spend over 12 bucks (I think). :)

i never put a motor in mine, so i tried it with that gear ratio. and your right, it won't mesh. the wire tabs on the the endbell are hitting the left a-arm mount. with an 81/20, your at a 9.11 final drive. try an 84/21. that will give you a 9.00, and you should be able to mesh the gears without a p...
