Re: RCSoup RC10 Project - Opinions wanted.
Standard duty ball cups should be good enough. As for the turnbuckles, I'd have to look them up in a manual. BTW, Associated has all of the RC10 manuals available on their web page.

Re: Vintage racers in CNY
Yep, the Ithaca track is Jerry's. I think it's mostly 1/8 but I can't say I've been there in person. I did check out Outback in Cortland last year. Nice track. We race weekly at Walt's on Saturdays. Short Course (with jumps) and oval. Todd has said that if 4 or more show up for a class, he'll run it...

Re: The YZ10 identification game!!
you are correct, those are standard '94 chassis , battery tie downs (upgraded to Yokomo carbon fiber) and shock towers. Pavidis front tower is solid (no cutouts); Pavidis rear tower has round holes.

Re: New Speed Passion ESCs
I'd be comfortable with that esc and a 13.5-10.5. You can search through the RCTech SpeedPassion thread for more info. I believe they said that the 5.5 rating was very conservative.

I haven't tried the latest offerings but plan to in the near future. I've had SpeedPassion electronics and motors for 5+ years now and love them.

Re: RC10 4x4 mip!!!!!! HELP
Lots of good stuff on that one! I see Trinity shock towers, Kyosho gold (I think) shocks, Pro Line wheels, Trinity cored chassis and of course the MIP chain drive 4wd conversion. I think I can piece together a scan of the manual, or at least of the major components. PM me your email and I'll send yo...

Re: Yokomo Worlds edition with "Yokomo Rough Track Kit"
I ran one of my '97s at last year's VONats. Lots of fun until the upper deck shock shaft broke. I do believe the YR4/MX4 one will be a direct/close enough replacement.
