Re: Nitro Dragster ID help?

I bought two things but looking back I wish I had bought more. The Motion Graphics painted 55 Chevy body they used in all the ads. The "V-Rod" car I think it was called from the Hot-Rodz line. It was the one used at the trade shows and ads. The body is also signed by them. :) I can post pi...

Re: Nitro Dragster ID help?

Nobody bought the company as a whole. As far as i'm aware it was split up and different companies bought different facets. RJ Speed bought a lot of it. A ton of stuff was also sold to the general public. Then the name and whatever was left over was sold to someone else.

Re: great kit for polishing alum wheels

I've used Mothers aluminum polish with a Mothers Mini PowerBall before with good results. Those would probably work better though.

Re: Your biggest mistake

Theres been a couple but I really regret selling my MRP High Roller. It was molded in the extra rare white plastic and was in awesome condition overall. Image

Re: Which Stealth trans should I use?

I ordered some of the parts over the weekend. Though now that its December I have to use my money for gifts. But i'm going to try and get the rest of what I need as soon as possible. I'll then start a build thread.

Re: Rowdy?

The Rowdy Baja is special to me as my father gave me one as a surprise gift in the 90's. :) I'm constantly surprised about how many people don't know about them. Even more so when its the people who are fans of old Kyosho buggies. They are from back in the day when Kyosho was putting their models in...

Re: what is this car buggy?

A couple of different companies made "clones" of the Rowdy Baja like shown above. The biggest difference is that the Rowdy Baja was all metal and the others had plastic (or whatever that material is) sides.

I'm not sure how good a brushless would even do in them.

Re: Which Stealth trans should I use?

Thanks for the info. I suppose I can e-mail him about it as well. I've decided to go with the Stealth on this truck but wouldn't mind Having one of those kits on hand if I ever buy another King Cab or don't like the Stealth in it.

Re: Which Stealth trans should I use?

Yup, that pretty much sums up why I changed my mind. I will be ordering the RPM 2.65:1 conversion kit this weekend. During my searching I came across some info about using the Lethal Weapon trans. From what I gathered Factory Works put out a complete Lethal Weapon conversion kit for the King Cab. Th...

Heeeyyy hows it going? I see a lot of the old gang here! Image I've felt like i've been neglecting this place for far too long by posting solely at Clodtalk.

Plus I figure Halgar's here so what's the worst that could happen?

Re: Got me another tether car

I have a Cameron Rodzy and a Cox Thimble Drome Champion. The Rodzy has been re-painted and has a set of 1/12 Bolink foam tires. The Thimble Drome is all original and in amazing condition.

Those old tether cars are really cool but pricey!

Re: Which Stealth trans should I use?

personally, i would use a b4/t4 trans. they're newer, and parts availability (if needed) will be much easier. Heeeeeey scr8p! Re: Which Stealth trans should I use?

I just looked at each manual and Charlie don't surf was right. T1 Stealth= 2.25 T2 Stealth= 2.60 T3 Stealth= 2.40 T4 Stealth= 2.60 With that being said it looks like I will need either a T2 or T4 Stealth. I can also get a T1 Stealth and convert it to 2.65 using the RPM conversion. So the two final q...
