Re: Let's talk Triumph
Well at the Reedy event which I admit was one of my worst events ever one of the team and wont say his name but after he marshalled he walked past me and threw it the pro x into a pond and then called Associated for a 2wd drive for the worlds. He still drove the Lazer in 4wd though.

Re: Let's talk Triumph
Nice, just in case you werent aware Jamie Booth won the British Nationals with this car and also with the ZXR so was above average. He beat Craig Drescher who as you most probably know made almost all the worlds A finals at the events he raced at and won 11 euros titles so to beat him driving his st...

Re: Lazer zx
That plastic bit is part of the slipper but within the gearbox casing you have two brass bushing hole sections and maybe still with them attached, bushings are ok but bearings do free it up a fraction. Daunting it may look but if you take it all apart for a major clean and rebuild its relatively sim...

Re: Lazer zx
Ok towers, fibrelyte in the uk have a variety for the zx/zxr and you can buy it thicker and I use a 5mm thick tower so wont kill your gear box. Bearings just look on either ebay or for a lical supplier in your country, dont buy the cheapest as they probably wont last but your looking ar 8 for the hu...

Re: Lazer zx
Go onto google and search for retromodelisme and youll find a French site. Look for manuals listed top left and in that is the Lazer zx manual with part numbers. Tbh if shock shafts arent bent just replace the seals which you can easily find from kyosho.

Re: Old School Radios, giving another life into it.
Nice, I did my Sanwa Gemini Exerd several years ago and believe is the first with a 2.4 conversion, it looks harder than it really is but you do need a really hot soldering iron otherwise you will mess it up. I still think the older transmitters are better than the new so why not continue using them
