Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I tried to upload a pic from my phone but its too large and not sure how to resize it on my phone Edit, pic attached you can see the way it was painted in the front window area is unconventional for a ZX-R but I like it The windows are smoked rather than black, I thin...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Is it possible to fit them to a Lazer using different hubs, if so which hubs are required Either the hard hubs for the TF-4 (SPW-123, available with 0 and 2 degrees toe-in) or the hard hubs for the TF-5 (TFW-002). You'll also need a different size of universal (W-5063 or equivalent). However, it is...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Thats news to me, my zx/zxr wishbones in front of me and ive a lot and are identical. Think the sports or 2000 may have been slightly different though as I did test those and it felt wrong, material was poor but think length was my issue. I agree all the competition Lazer wishbones from the ZX to Z...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
The first zxr I built, with 7 cell chassis, used the kingping/ camber link on top of the c hub. I know, stirring the pot,, but I really think alot of those updates were thrown into production before the next model came out. Its really opening a can of worms trying to figure out the zxr it seems. Th...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
like i mentioned i believe there are more then just mk1 and mk2 as people think. the evidence is really showing 4 different versions of the buggy over the span of the kits production plus the zx-rr versions of the kit. Yes as they kept changing throughout production without altering the box. As you...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Thanks for all that info. I didn't realise Kyosho also changed the length of the front la-26 wishbones, I'll have to compare all the arms I have now. I also have two sets of the la-104, one for my zx-s and one for my runner So many little differences, you always learn something new. I have many NIP...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Question is what is it for? If for racing buy the chassis for the zx as it was better, top deck for mk1, towers, well I prefered the mk1 rear tower but the front mms semi circular tower was and still is the best made, then the mk1 steering brace as its better than the mk2 angled version plus easier ...

Re: Mini RC10
Very cool, and Fibre-Lyte's involvement makes it even cooler. Are all of the components custom as well or are they sourced from other models? Best to discuss with Nigel as he is the designer / creator but from what I see in those pictures looks like the towers and chassis are cf, the gearbox, motor...
