Re: Delta Super J?
Could be lead paint. The bill that banned lead paint passed in 1976 which is the same year that that CK760 wouldve been raced.

Re: Delta Super J?
I think it's a Delta CK760. Is the chassis painted? Looks like it.

Re: T.M. Racing Short Track 10
It's just that in the ad pic there looks to be a standoff under the v-brace, in front of the battery slots, that's too long to fit under there. The brace is straight but seems like it should be bent up after the front arms. When I tried to do that on the ST-10 I had it just made the chassis bend in ...

Re: T.M. Racing Short Track 10
Very nice as usual.
I could never figure out how the top deck was mounted in the ad car. The section under the arms looks like it's mounted flat to the chassis, but from the servo back to the shock mount it looks like it's raises up.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Duratrax Did they make their own chassis or was this made by a 3rd party? I wasn't even aware that duratrax made composite chassis. Is this unidirectional carbon fiber over a core? Duratrax had their own chassis but I'm not certain if it was a resale deal or not. You can ID a Duratrax by the 6 scre...

Re: What is the black material on composite craft chassis
Black CF, without a weave pattern, is usually sold as unidirectional. Isotropic is the fab process where each ply of CF is laid at a 45 or 90 degree angle to the previous one.

Re: Dadio's latest dumb question
Did anyone make these with the controls swapped?. i.e. throttle stick on the large face, steering wheels on skinny side. I think that could actually be pretty comfortable.

Re: Ultima Duratrax Graphite Chassis or Kyosho?
I've got the same Duratrax chassis with 30° kickup. It has a white layer sandwiched between the the graphite top and bottom. Do you still have the header card for yours? If not can you remember the part number? It looks like Duratrax had two different Pro XL chassis'. The first was part number DTXC...

Here's a VW Splitty pick-up body, but the wheelbase may be 10-15mm longer than you want.

Re: Looking for 1/10 COE Truck Bodies
The only other COE bodies that I can think of are the Dahm's Camino 2000, and the Kyosho Blizzard...but the Camino is likely too big for what you want @ 9" wide x 17 3/4" long. How about modding a Midnight Pumpkin body? https://www.scalebuildersguild.com/forum/threads/can-a-tamiya-midnight...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Anyone that likes big city stuff needs a head exam...sorry Thumbs I think that we can all agree, on both points. That's a hasty generalization. I personally disagree, but I respect that RC10Talk is not the forum to get into my opinions on why, or to make slights at the members who think differently...
