Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
Shouldn't see much, but different caster blocks do vary the amount or need for washers under the ball studs. As a rule of thumb, try to get the steering rods parallel with the suspension arms and you should see little to no bump steer

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I can tell you exactly how that ends.
Buy 40th kit
Buy all the Fan parts and trans
Assemble
Realize you have 60% of a car leftover
Order the parts to finish that one

Dave Geitner on facebook sells them, and TeamKNK sells them on their site as well. Really nice screws, $1 a pop.

Don't give up on the towers early, it's not uncommon for them to take 15-20 minutes at a near boil.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
dang, I was hoping it was just temporary. The tires are just such an odd size. I found some killer paddles with the same styling, but they are way large  I did draw up stock wheels as well as some to fit the DE racing mini outlaw tires, but those are kind of a last resort if the stock ones come...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
The late 10T kits came with about 600 supplement sheets and that would have been one of them, but they are very easily lost track of. I don't even have that sheet in my stack

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Over the last few months I have slowly rebuilt a Wild Willy. I picked it up cheap and found a few broken parts, modeled them and printed replacements including having a stainless steel 3d printed axle tube made. Soaked the body in LA's Awesome for a couple days to get the three layers of paint off. ...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
Anyway, unlike early T's, these arms will fit either side and there isn't the recess (or notch) that provides additional clearance for the bone. Probably because both top and bottom would require the recess (to make the arm fit either side) and maybe the arm is too thin to accommodate both recesses...

Re: Bolink "Super" Digger
I would say that's Invader O/R. The super digger would be the same for the most part but would attach to the chassis not to a "t plate" adapter like that. They also made a kit without shocks iirc, and it used springs on those oval holes instead That also has the earlier spring coupler, lat...

Last I heard was that the remaining orders would be shipped end of May. I'm wondering if they are on a boat over here currently

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Personally I do both, depends on my mood and trust of cut lines. Tamiya or kyosho bodies no problem. I do not trust AE cut lines or holes. I would get it mounted first then paint. For the body mount holes I like to leave the posts off and get the body fitting properly, then add the rear post by look...
