Well, mine ended up being Aristocraft and the brush hoods are similar but different as mine are not directional.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
With the engraving seemingly being under the label, and the label looking pretty fresh for an old motor I'd be leery. I have one of those motors with that brush hood arrangement and can't recall who made them. Don't see them often though

Re: Trackmaster transmission
Ours are hardened and would be a serious pita to drill out. Ill check bone fitment shortly but from memory the bones fit fine, maybe a tad loose but definitely usable

If they are 5mm you could use kyosho optima/ultima outdrives (not rere) or ours from the trx1 bone kit

Pretty hard to find, haven't seen one for sale in a long time. That said, the stock ones are super easy and those Molotov chrome pens would probably do an outstanding job

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
I wonder if they would have used their own #6192 chrome knockoffs

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
yeah the youtube embedding isnt working, i edited with an external link. Not much to see, but you can tell its smooth and thats what is important. Oiled bearings vs greased will make a HUGE difference. We are running chinese $1 a pop bearings these days vs the $80 high end NMB bearings sets back in ...

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
In 2013 I built up a completely stock rere trans and didn't touch the gears. This was assembled with the stock bushings not bearings. When under load bushings are far less efficient but as far as the spin test went, it was miles ahead of the original 6 gears. for some reason the link isnt working, h...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Question for the experts: Which "version" are they re-releasing? Was there an original version with gold shocks and bushings? The XX chased away all of the AE buggies where I raced bitd, but there were always quite a few 10Ts racing. I don't recall seeing this combination. It's very cool ...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Thanks for the heads up, just nabbed one to be safe. I'll get a backup from amain when they list em. I have some trust issues with AE fulfillment after seeing some friends get hosed on the CC and 40th kits
