Re: What are your plans with your re-release RC10T?
I have some brush motors coming soon as well, starting with 12x1 and 17x1, they will be chrome can instead of the black though. Hopefully will have them available by the time the next big release happens. They will be $19.95 just like the good old days

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
Buds was still buds at least well into 1991, I think your going to struggle to find a very early pinned ring vs simply notching it out more with a Dremel and calling it a day.

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
Running change, it looks like they started with a setscrew size hole and moved to a 1/16 pin instead- likely due to it being harder to balance the heavy steel screw. Buds became BRP so you probably can't pin down that the buds package would be a setscrew, but it's more likely than the much later brp...

Re: Another RC300 Nos Kit
Very nice!
I don't think those crystals will work for you though, those are the 91 and newer narrow band crystals.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Well, mine ended up being Aristocraft and the brush hoods are similar but different as mine are not directional.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
With the engraving seemingly being under the label, and the label looking pretty fresh for an old motor I'd be leery. I have one of those motors with that brush hood arrangement and can't recall who made them. Don't see them often though

Re: Trackmaster transmission
Ours are hardened and would be a serious pita to drill out. Ill check bone fitment shortly but from memory the bones fit fine, maybe a tad loose but definitely usable

Re: Trackmaster transmission
If they are 5mm you could use kyosho optima/ultima outdrives (not rere) or ours from the trx1 bone kit

We literally raced with them, it's really not a big deal haha. They work fine.

Pretty hard to find, haven't seen one for sale in a long time. That said, the stock ones are super easy and those Molotov chrome pens would probably do an outstanding job
