Re: Kyosho's I've Owned

I would think 5.5T--on 3S LiPo, no less--would grenade your gearbox. The Raider certainly wasn't meant to handle the hot brushed motors on 8.4V back in the day, let alone a super-powerful modern brushless motor on 11.1V. You'd need a helluva slipper gear setup, I imagine. I've never had issues with...

Re: Working on a Raider...

I'm glad to see someone else saving an old Raider. I have 3 of them currently. I've always ran the original front tire's just because there doesn't seem to be a good alternative to them.

Re: RC10T Runner - Now retired for shelf duty

You did a great job for something built out of spare parts. I alway's liked the way these looked compared to newer ST's.

Re: Saving an RC10GT

I spent awhile yesterday putting the truck back together and there are only a few little issues that I have to fix. The first issue is while I was driving the original brake disc broke and flew apart and I didn't find out until it was going full speed towards a metal building, luckily I was able to ...

Re: Saving an RC10GT

I got it tore down the last two days and soaked the chassis in water and dawn trying to get the gunk off of it and got a good bit of it. So after I got that done I tore the front and rear suspension down and got it cleaned up and re-assembled. So right now I have to get the servos back in and clean ...

Re: Saving a XXX-T MF-1

$10 earns a pass. From me. Some wouldn't allow that for free. LOL Anyway, nice find. Curious how this turns out. The MF1 has always been a nice truck. I know a guy who still races his and is competitive. Glad it has your approval. I probably shouldn't have dove into this, But it is a truck that I a...

I'm working on that. Those shocks go to the RC10 GT I bought from him, But the guy he got it from swapped the parts around. For $10 each I can't complain.

Thank's. I am planning on running it, The engine feels like it has good compression so I am atleast going to give it a shot.

Saving a XXX-T MF-1

This is the second car I bought from my cousin the other day to save and restore. Its a Losi XXX-T MF-1. It has 5 out of the 6 Lunsford turnbuckles on it still, Not sure what happened to the other one. I have wanted one of these for the last few years so when I got the chance I snagged this one to t...

Saving an RC10GT

I bought this from my cousin the other night so I could restore it and save it. It's and old black pan RC10GT with a OS CV .12 in it. It's complete except for the shocks but I can take care of that. Here are some pics of what am starting with for now. http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss105/Airsoft...

Re: Trek posted his, so here is mine.

That's the first time I have ever seen a RC10 set up like that with the belt drive and the little foam tires. Look's like it would be fun on the road(with a chassis protector of course).

Wow, That thing look's like a time capsule. So if you never ran it in the dirt, Did you just run it on the street?

That cleaned up really well. I actually like the body, I painted a body in a similar way for my E-Revo I used to have so I am kinda partial to those colors. Is that green RC10T powder coated?

That's a shame, Because this was a really beautiful car.
