Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)
Absolutely. The suspension is a strange choice for a buggy. In stock form it sits high off the ground with the arms at full droop. The springs seem a little stiff. If you've seen the two YouTube videos on the Navajo it bounces around a lot on rough terrain. I may have to wind softer springs for it. ...

TAG Navajo (Pro)
I first saw one of these on Tamiyaclub back in 2006. First impressions were, "what were they on?" After much investigation and research, I decided that I would buy one and modify it for running. There's no way I could shelve something this weird. Navajos are hobby grade yet verge on ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Good luck with the body ! I've always looked at these and wondered if the lower arms are the same as the Coyote , they look so similar. Thanks Gav. They are exactly the same. It also uses Coyote wheels, tyres, stub axles and dogbones. The nylon diff carrier is also identical to the Coyote and Pro 1...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
The teardown has begun. The chassis and all components are in pretty good shape. The tyres were never glued. 1.jpg The body on the other hand............... 2.jpg It's been soaking in undiluted Simple Green. It doesn't eat the paint. It seems to get under it and help lift it off. The red and white p...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Nice choice of kit. Really fun to build. Even more fun to drive. It should have twelve 5x11 metal shielded ball bearings in the kit. I bought a Buggy Champ in 2009 and it came with twelve bearings.

Re: SRB Hop Up Pics & Info Thread
Years ago, I read about this diff on Tamiyaclub (Blasphemy! :D ). It's mentioned in the second post on page one by the member Tanker (2). https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/9140-srb-balldiff/ I wondered about it for years and came to the conclusion that I'd probably never see one, or ...

They are. I was fortunate enough to grab a couple of KRs too. Well before prices rose to ridiculous levels.

Pretty cool. The cages just need the extra holes drilled in them to accommodate longer CB style Kyosho shocks.

Reedy Pro 19 Quad Mag motor
I've had this about eleven years now. This is the Pro hand wound version of the Spec 19 motor. These Quad Mag motors are really smooth to turn over by hand. 1.jpg 2.jpg One interesting thing of note is that the Pro sticker has been placed over the Spec sticker. You can just see the Spec sticker peek...

Fantom Limited Team Stock Motor
After reading the Son of Psycho thread I thought I'd share a picture of this motor that has been in my collection for eleven years now. It is very pink, especially when viewed in person.

Re: Kyosho Le Mans 600 ???
That's the one. It has 19 turns of .65mm wire plus bearings. Kyosho recommends 7.2v to 9.6v in a boat or plane. It'd still be fine in a car.
