Re: SG Coyote improvements

Coyote kits don't come with sway bars nor did SG or TAG or anyone else offer them (I could be wrong though) as options as far as I know. As before, it's a case of make it yourself which in my case has always been one of the main attractions of RC cars. Anyway, here's my sway bars. The front one made...

Making some swaybar mounts from scrap G10.

They turned out pretty well. I might dye them black. That's a Kyosho mount for reference. It's nice to be able to make bits and pieces. Saves quite a few bucks.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I made a visit to my local hobby shop.. a mix of deliberate and random items. Took home all their Losi Ti-nitride shock shafts  If you can guess what the 8x16 bearings are for, you’ll get a thumbs up! https://i.postimg.cc/hGSfpfSX/0-C5263-D0-5-ACD-4-CAC-A833-FF29853-D3-EF7.jpg The bearings are...

Re: Ultima Duratrax Graphite Chassis or Kyosho?

Old thread, I do not have any of these anymore. Long since moved on unfortunately. No worries. Thanks for the reply. The two chassis Duratrax I know of are the Pro XL version in the OP and a 7 battery slot version made for the earlier Pro. I believe the Pro still had the shorter wheelbase. I've bee...

Re: Ultima Duratrax Graphite Chassis or Kyosho?

I've got the same Duratrax chassis with 30° kickup. It has a white layer sandwiched between the the graphite top and bottom. Do you still have the header card for yours? If not can you remember the part number? It looks like Duratrax had two different Pro XL chassis'. The first was part number DTXC2...

Re: Kinda cool rc12e

Silicone was used to gain traction on polished wooden floors like basketball courts. In the 90's I raced on such a surface. People were racing everything from buggies to pan cars and were desperate to get some sort of grip. Silicone turned out to be a good solution especially when the tyres were coa...

It's not pretty, but it fills a slot in my hit list. And now that I have it, that means another one cheaper and nicer should be popping up any moment. Maybe I should go wash my car too just to get the universe properly in motion. . PXL_20230520_201054823~2.jpg At least you didn't buy it directly fr...

Re: TAG Pro10 mag review car with options

Cool. I've seen a few pictures of Pro 10s with deeper dished alloy wheels on the rear. It always looks better to my eye. Unfortunately the Pargu wheels I have are the same depth to the wheel face front and rear.
