Re: Need Help Picking an ESC & Motor
I put the RR idler gear, Dhawk Diff gear, and b4 topshaft with VTS slipper in my stealth. It handles the power from the 3800kv motor just fine. Even when I ran it on 3S and 47/69 gearing. That ended up with the stealth running at 30,000 rpm; it's a little crazy how well it works. I should say that I...

Re: Need Help Picking an ESC & Motor
I would think thats about right. I would think putting the 3800 motor in the rc10 is about the same to putting a 1/8 system into a rustler like so many others have. I wanted to suggest the 4600 motor but i felt at odds about it. on 2S that car will fly.

Re: Need Help Picking an ESC & Motor
the MMP combo is total overkill. im not sure it would fit in the car too. I have the Sidewinder 3800 combo in one of my buggies and its a lot of power for the car. Its a good bang for buck combo but dont expect to use the motor fan w/o cutting away a large chunk of the motor plate. no real opinion o...

Re: Turnbuckles and Ball Cups
you might not like this but from my experience. Metal ball cups are pretty much a non existant thing for this scale. Your probably going to have to use captured ball rod ends. Those tend to be fairly large in size so the manufacturer you can use are limited. My experience with this has shown of all ...

I've raced it and normally just bash it and its held up for a year+ now. I did prep with 3k and 5k albeit you cant reall...

Painting Shapeway parts
So I finally got around to modelling up some parts and sending them to shapeways. I'm curious what you guys use to paint parts? I'm looking to do, a glossy black and chrome sprays. These are trim pieces for a build such as mirrors and bumper parts for a scaled version of my 1:1 truck. body painted b...
