Re: Hoarse from swearing....Loudly.

Where I go, No ambulance is going, and if cut is bad enough you'd bleed out by time medivac heli got to you Don't think you'll fix an arterial bleed with CA glue by yourself on a mountain. Being prepared is always good, but so is being realistic and pragmatic. Carry some closure strips and somethin...

Re: Charging LiPo's for storage

a 6000 mAh battery will last twice as long as a 3000 mAh battery, but everything else will be the same. It won't be any more powerful. Only true if the 3,000 mah has twice the discharge rating. At the same rating, the 6,000 can discharge twice as many amps as the 3,000. Hence it would be twice as p...

i tend to curse a lot when working on kyoshos. and when obama is on tv.
My language can get colorful when projects aren't going right. My face gets colorful just thinking about the damage that man has done to this country. And I have olive tan skin.........

Re: ebay seller protection policy

If you're on the up-and-up, you'll be fine. Take lots of pictures, give fairly detailed descriptions, and especially mention any defects/damage. It's pretty hard for a buyer to argue that you didn't disclose something if it is quite evident that you did disclose everything in writing and pictures. R...

Re: Just another Worlds build

Is that 4th pic just a weird angle or did you somehow end up with mega rear toe-in? Mostly camera angle, but there is a bit of positive camber with the manual recommended measurements on turn buckles. I plan to leave it that way until I see how it runs around the track. I am going to adjust the fro...

Just another Worlds build

Finally got around to it, as I just couldn't pass on one at $199 shipped from AE. Decided to leave the chassis stock for now, see how it does. Opted for one of Atomik Racing's HD1207TG servos, as I've found this product line to be excellent performers at a modest price. They're smooth, fast, powerfu...

Pretty close, although no skulls on mine, and it's much more metallic. I still have that one, though it wears the cobalt blue body these days.

You put the clips together well, but this could have been done with any decent camera. The idea behind the Go Pro is first person view with a camera that can take the hits; attach it to the car, man!

You don't need to justify what you've done, it's your kit. I just think you were expecting a bunch of applause for this, but a bulletin board full of vintage RC enthusiasts is the wrong place to look if you want kudos for bastardizing a nice, clean, original & never run truck that many of our me...

Re: RC10GT-E is born

the chassis is braced with the motor mount (a 10L motor mount) as well as the turnbuckles. Ah. Couldn't tell what kid of mount you had, and I didn't notice the turnbuckles. They were built for scratching not shelving and counting its worth. I agree, which is why I have only one shelf queen (a black...
