Well, I’m back at it. Finally ordered a new pinion and Um-1 gears. I’m getting a Spektrum STX2, receiver, nimh batteries, and charger from someone local tomorrow. Hopefully I’m finally moving forward.

Which gear(s) do you need specifically? Only the one which meshes with the pinion on the motor? Or everything in the UM-1 package? I need the small silver gear that goes on the shaft of the motor and the gear that one meshes with, the large flat gear. Labeled 11T and 41T in this picture: http://www...

I started to pull the trigger on buying stuff today online and I'm already over $200 in parts and gear. I still need small parts too like the UM1 gear and pinion gear, plus who knows what else (shock rebuild?)... Now I'm second guessing whether or not I want to do this.

Sorry - I have another question. Does anyone around here paint and decal bodies? I know I don't have the skills and I want a box look body made.
