Re: Where to find metal gears for rc10 B3 differential and maybe the stealth transmission?
For retro racing I upgraded my B3 to a b4 top shaft and slipper assembly, it's a straight swap and takes the strain out the single slipper pad that comes in the kit.

Re: Optima mid turbo - convert to Javelin
I checked the manuals, gearboxes look the same, wing mounts for Javelin are separate and bolt on the same as the spacers on the Turbo, and parts are available in UK. I see the Turbo has a skid plate, not sure if this can be used with the cage as well?. If there is something else I have missed please...

Re: Optima mid turbo - convert to Javelin
Not mid, don't know why I typed that, thanks for confirming its rear motor Optima that I would need.
I like the gold on the Optima turbo so hopefully a conversion can be done. I'll download the manuals and compare gearbox casings and parts availability. I had not though about the wing mount.

Re: T3/B3 Skid Plates?
It will be a runner, I am just waiting for the last part - a battery strap of all things. I could only find the Thundertiger version and it has had to come all the way from Australia.

Re: T3/B3 Skid Plates?
I just did the same thing, built up a B3 from parts I had. Will you only consider new parts?
I found even the simplest things like the correct ball studs are hard to find and prices have gone through the roof.

Re: Need help B3 top shaft into a B4.2
I did it the other way round so I could run a B3 with a B4 slipper for a brushless setup. It was a straight swap so I can't see why you couldn't do it the other way.....

The parts are low value - about $15.00 or so, I will obviously Paypal you the funds first. The parts are to fi...

I was wondering what the different colour labels represented, there are black, blue and red, are they for single, double, triple winds?
Thanks, Mark.

Re: New Built Losi XX Graphite (Now with body paint!)
I use a silicon spray lubricant from Halfords, it is absolutely awesome for restoring tyres and giving them that black semi gloss look. I Put the wheel and tyre onto a hex wrench or similar, spin it fast and spray it whilst its spinning, this coats it very evenly. I leave them overnight on a piece o...
