Re: Who else loves the Stadium Blitzer?

I just finished a Stadium Blitzer rere. I flipped the steering knuckles over, replaced the plastic upper arms with Tamiya 42mm blue anodized turnbuckles, Pro Line 2.2 the edge on front and Jconcepts 2.2 goosebumps green truck tires on the back and fully ballraced it. Cleaned up the battery area for ...

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

Thanks SFC K, can't wait till it gets here. Here is a body off shot from the seller. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s468/crazynick484/IMG_20150704_27736_1.jpg thats a clean score, it would be great if the msc got replaced with a hobbywing ezrun 1060esc or similar, prop shaft got upgraded with ...

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

I also am running the photon 2, and my tires which I just bought the kit new in january, are also like hard plastic. I swapped em out for jconcepts hybrids, 20 times better. Even my old thundershot doesnt like those tires.

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

I picked up some dirt hogs on mini e revo wheels today on the cheap. The track with Tires and wheels make it 8-5/16". With the traxxas hexes off my rustler vxl, it jumps to 8-5/8". I tested it without the hexes and it is 100% better. I also switched the Pistons in the front to single hole...

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

I just put one of these kits together. All I added was bearings, photon 2 motor. During Assy, I laughed at the tires. They are almost plastic like. After test drive, I decided I will not be doing a box art paint job on this. Definetely needs softer tires. On full throttle starts on pavement, it goe...

Re: 2.2 rims

I ended up getting one set of hpi sand paws mounted on b44 rims for the rusler and a set of proline paddles mounted on merv 2.2 rims for the kyosho triumph. We leavecin 10 days, took along my fully modded tt01 and my sons neo scorcher with a few hop ups for parking lot/park bashing, they are down th...

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

That does look good, I removed some chassis material from the battdry area and can fit a hardcase lipo in it without weakening the structure, it rips. I just got a set of j concepts 2.2 rulux wheels for the 1/16 e revo, they have about 1/2 inch offset widening the track almost an inch or more and th...

whar to take on beach holiday

I didnt see a general section, thought I would post this question here, I apologize if it is not appropriate. Im going to myrtle beach in march with my 18 year old son and have been trying to decide what 3 or 4 cars to bring with, to blast onthe beach and hit a parking lot or park also. What do I ne...

Re: TA-02T Ford Ranger

Asiatees.com (GPM) or 3Racing might have aftermarket motor mounts. Another good option for this chassis (and all TA01/02-based cars, really) is an alloy front gearbox bottom, which will prevent breaking the front gearbox in certain frontal impacts. Yes, I see those are available from asiatees or am...

Re: Triumph Discussion

I also have a triumph that my best friend gave me, he bought it on clearance for 90 dollars u.s. in 91. I tore it down, mounted a flysky 2.4g, cheap 320 amp esc, 2s lipo, has original leman super stock 34 motor and ks 91 servo. I put new rear tires and an rc10 body on it with a home made wing and I ...

2.2 rims

Going on a beach holiday with my son and need to mount some paddle tires on some rims for our tamiyas and 1 traxxas, I see alot of 2.2 paddle tires on amazon. Can anyone tell me which tamiya dish or otherwise buggy rims are 2.2 inch with a 12mm hex mounting system? My trf uses pins only, but the rus...

Re: ta02t

FWIW i don't think the diff will fit an m05. I know, I ordered a m03 diff and it showed up in ta03 packaging from tamiya, I cross examined the m03/m05 ball diffs and they are the same according to parts exploded diagram. I then looked over the m03 and m05 manual and they have the same gears, so the...
