Re: Rc10 Alminum / graphite Hybrid Chassis RC10/RPM/B3
The bulkhead is a molded part of the chassis. The lines that formed the battery tray lined up very nicely with the chassis mounts, once they had been cut from the b2 chassis.
Battery cradle width is pretty much a standard for stick or shorty'a running inline. That is from my own experience.

Re: Rc10 Alminum / graphite Hybrid Chassis RC10/RPM/B3
I know it's an old Proline Body. I remember seeing people in this forum using and naming which one it was. I would love to have a few of them now! Thanks all! I sold these chassis close to 8yrs ago on eBay.. Like an idiot. So the pics are all I have. The Rc10 front-end chassis was sold with blue Alm...

Rc10 Alminum / graphite Hybrid Chassis RC10/RPM/B3
I just found more pics of an old rc10 build that I did over 10yrs ago. A few people have asked if I had anymore pics for better viewing and details. Since this isn't a fresh build, I'll answer any questions asked and answer what I can remember about the build. Gold Alm tub Rc10 graphite chassis(actu...

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
Closer to being finished but trying to get it mostly track ready for this wknd before they tear up the track for the race in 2wks. I still need longer front tower & fine tune some lil hardware quirks. Using the B5m battery cradle, and running the shorty pack sideways; the ESC bullet connectors n...

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
The Protech I, is one of my fav bodies. I also have a Turbo Mirage (next to paint), and about 5 other bodies that I'm using for working on a few molds for the tub chassis. Sadly, there is a CForward in the planning. Had to go with the Decepticon. When other racers see this car, they are instantly go...

I wish I knew CAD, but then I'd need to win the lottery for all my ideas!
I really like this forum! There is a LOT of great ideas & work in these pages! Crazy I didn't discover this place till late last year.

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
Thank you!
If I can use parts that will be on the hobby shop wall at the track, then the better.
It's a lot of trial & error, to see what can work.

Re: Anyone tried slotting their control arms?
Didn't one of the Schuey's Maybe Cat2000 have an O-ring setup for the Front arms, for crash survivability? I know they did it for wing mounts, but I swore one of the cars came with it for the front Arms...

I got to watch this race live, with my Pops.. the Masami Exhibitions of driving his 4wd with his feet using a stick radio, was jaw dropping!
