Re: Wider suspension arms

Fred,

I was wrong about a difference b/t the Original Rear Mounts being slightly wider than the Re-re arm mounts. Apparently, the one set of original arm mounts I have are not the same toe-in. One side is 3deg, the other side about 2deg(eye balling it).

Everything matches up great!

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build

Note to myself, B5 ballstuds and ballcups will not work on the rc10 Worlds bellcranks with Front Shock tower inner camber positions! -this may have already been stated somewhere in the forum, I couldn't find it, lessoned learned! lol The camber links are using a 4.8mm Ball stud and ball cup. When I ...

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build

Fred, I'd like to see that! I originally picked up B44 batt trays, but bought a B5m cradle for another project and jokingly sat it in the tub, and then all the above happened! ugh, projects :) I still owe you some rear arm and mount pics, bcz the re-re arm mounts do move the arms in closer to the ch...

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build

I've never used a Brick Pack for anything, but I have a lot Saddle Packs from my wheeler. If you only wanted to use the B5 cradle, it might take you a total of 30mins to do the mod, depending on how fancy you want to get. You don't need the front piece. Just use holes #1 & 2, you're done. When I...

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build

My steering Solution: -Since I had already drilled the holes for the B5 servo mounts into my tub chassis, I want to do my best to figureout a way to use them and not drill any more holes. Cutting the b5 mounts off and using B4 or B-Max2 servo mounts are a lot easier option, but this way allows me to...

HA! I think that's always been the point of stock class - Who's the fastest cheater!

The newbs do better to enter a straight Novice class than a Stock Class anymore.

Re: Racer's, lets talk about the new breeds of 2wd buggies..

my 2cents im not a loyalist.. I've typically found myself sticking with AE 2wd buggy, Losi 4wd for most of my racing life. I've tried lots of different cars and keep coming back to this. I ran the 22 from the time it came out, switched from a B4.. loved it. Upgraded it to 22 2.0 susp and steering co...

Re: Decided to learn CAD this weekend lol

Nice! I gave up of Google Sketchup. It wasn't very intuitive for me. I know there is a huge community to support it, but I got burnt out quickly. I just found Autocad123 a couple of weeks & ago, and need to make time for it. It seems a lot easier to get around in. I know virtually nada about CAD...
