Re: Mini RC10

I wouldn't care if it actually drove either, BUT there are a ton of micro electronics to make this easily runnable!

Micro Airplanes have vetted the equipment for years.

Re: Polishing a lexan body??

you can try Mothers polishing compound with a ball buffer. I've had friends use it with varying results. Depends on how deep the etch is in the lexan.

It might be worth trying some of that $5 Headlight Restorer instead.

WOW.. you even got the Lupe Paint Job almost spot on! Good guy! Raced with him and the Baton Rouge LA quite a few times. Had his own signature style, kind of like the Andy's Body had Andy's signature style!!

Great Work!

Re: Losi xx4 rebuild

The longer outdrives with the aluminum ring on the end of it, I believe are BK2 outdrives. Whichever the xxx buggy that had the redesigned tranny that last 1 buggy version. The newer mip drives used a losi axle & b4 bone... Like you stated, shorter that the stock universals.. That's why people w...

Re: b3 factory team body question

It's the Deja vue tu Body from proline... It's still my favorite body & I have a nib TBG one in my closet! ;-)

Originally, it came in the B3 Worlds Conv Kit, body wing, updated pieces..

The wing blends as part of the body.. It's pretty awesome!

Re: Losi xx4 rebuild

The original belts would self-destruct in their original packaging, inside of an unopened kit. I built a NIB Rally Weapon a few years back and the belts had decomposed, probably due to the old California air trapped inside. Things can be exposed to California for only so long before they begin to f...

Re: Losi xx4 rebuild

They are addictive  Tough Belts seems to be selling Nylon Faced Neoprene belts similar to the Bando Belts on the 22-4. That's basically your only source for xx4 belts now.. If you someone selling legit xx4 belts, only consider ones pkgd in newest TLR packaging headers.. They will be the las...

Sorry I jumped the gun a bit here, they dont fit as I had hoped  ,like Beau S said they are too narrow like the speed T ones,Oh well just got my plastic ones from OLDRC,that was super quick shipping, atleast I can run them untill I can get some GPM ones. Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

remove the braces and they should bolt directly on. I've thought of buying these many times, but the 4deg toe keeps stopping me. You can still buy the plastic versions from Losi, which if I recall properly have the 3deg option. Post they fit without issue or not! For that price, its worth having thi...

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

Great collection of xx4 tips.

Arno even gathered all the tips that Dyno Dan posted on rctech xx4 forum.
He studied the xx4 all the way from Jukkas designs & notes... To evolve the platform into the 22-4.

Re: help.XX4 rear pivot blocks breaking every race.

One of the ways I bulletproofed mine, using 3mm flatheads screws instead of the 4-40 gear.. The molded holes are already a little loose for the 4-40 hardware & will easily strip. The slight wiggle can cause the screws to backout, or increase the chance of impact to break. This is why I keep my p...
