Re: Early edinger shock gaskets I/D and O/D
The early one were like half that width. Only slightly larger than the cap.

Re: Early edinger shock gaskets I/D and O/D
... Thanks for that. I have some of those gaskets as well. I am starting an early mid Edinger rebuild and I want to make sure I know what I am getting going after those parts.

I can only measure the parts I have. I can’t help with changeover timelines.

Early edinger shock gaskets I/D and O/D
Hello all,
Does anyone know the outer diameter of the shock gaskets used on early Edinger RC10's
When was the diameter changed? Were these early only or early and mid Edingers?
Was the part kept at the same number 6468?

Re: Ball cups for the edinger?
These look identical to the ones from my much later team car. I never noticed it bit the plastic is weird on them compared to the other parts, more fragile than the nylon of other parts on the car.rctenracer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 03, 2012 10:42 am Just want to confirm if these are early ball cups for the edinger.

Re: Ball cups for the edinger?
Early Edinger, the only one that really matters significantly, did not use those. These were the next version and not uncommon. The early Edingers did not have the hex. You can check the 25 years thread that is stickied for pics.

... of these transmissions. B3, B4,... no clue. I’m old school and only knew the 6 gear. As I recently rebuilt my 2 RC10s, the CE and my original Edinger that I’ve had for over 30 years, I’m a babe in the woods when it comes to the Stealth. Is there a way to tell the difference? Although the original ...

Edinger Drive Gear Pivot
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the early Edinger kits come with a drive gear pivot that was held in with a clip instead of a nut? I have this one in my collection and I am pretty sure that is it. Check out the pics.

Re: RC10 Vintage Motors
Reviving an old thread here... I picked up a version of a Team Associated '05' motor with an Edinger sticker that I've never seen before. Doing some research it looks to be an 'Igarashi' version of the standard stock motor but I am just curious where this fits in the ...

Re: RC10 goldpan rookie questions
2) No stamp and A stamp were the same chassis, the no stamp are earlier but A stamps could still be edinger, Cadillac, even early CE. Rere are also no stamp so be careful purchasing on eBay! 3) a stealth will not bolt into an A stamp without drilling. AB stamp was the first ...

Re: RC10 goldpan rookie questions
Hi Tom Fellow newbie, here. It's my understanding that some "late" Edinger chassis's have the A stamp. By comparing other components you should be able to determine which version you have. All the info can be found in the following "excellent" ...
