Resurrecting what may be the worst, drug through the mud, rode hard put up wet, beaten, thrashed, trashed, bent and broken mid ever sold on the internet.
Caked with what looks to be sugared clay baked into every nook and cranny that an rc car has....

This is getting picky but...

The gear I was going to use to replace the Kyosho OT-86 counter gear was a Robinson RRP-3750 for Optima Mid.
The Robinson is a much better gear than the poor excuse for a gear that Kyosho made but the Robinson is 32p....

Recently received this RC10 from ebay. Got it torn down and cleaned.

One of the idler gears, ASC#6613, has a couple chips out of the teeth.

Is there anyone making those for sale?

Thanks, @Coelacanth . Do the speed controllers you're referring to incorporate variable gearing? I think the only way you can reduce torque (without also reducing speed) is by changing the gearing. Let me know!

Initially, when I got my two 44B chassis, I was at my friend's place to get 2 cars I had a deal on since few months...

Super wheelie bodies are very much detailed.... And they take forever to paint... I've used some tape to mask around the seats on both white cars to apply brown and it's difficult for many reasons, with a risk of overspray somewhere where it was not...

The motor with a blue and chrome label that came with the original RC10.
There are no markings on the can or end bell and no reference to Reedy.

I recently had 2 Kyosho OT-85 center gears (idlers) printed by Shapeways.
The gears were printed MJF PA12. Vapor smoothing or any smoothing was not an option.

Had no idea they reissued the 1977 6-wheeler.

Spotted this for $190 last night, and this fool and his money have parted ways - once again.

Have a Hobbywing 1060 ordered for it, as it definitely doesn't come with the ESC.
