If you want a runner and can afford the RE RE trans then that's the way to go and just keep the original trans to keep its value in future. Got all the parts needed for the rere drivetrain upgrade and a few pieces that I don't need :mrgreen:. Started building the front and rear diffs.

JG Mid Optima

I've ordered some 5x10x4mm flanged bearings for the bellcranks.

Midi body. Ordered a TBG replacement.

Making some progress. Was able to install the drivetrain and the wing over the weekend. Not much original parts left on this build.

Just used some calipers and a X-acto knife. I ran the calipers along the belt and scored a slight groove for the knife to follow.
