Finally got around to putting a TBG lid on the ultima. Turned out ok. Had a lot of bleed around the pinstripes. Think the tape was pretty old and I was a little impatient. I've been working on a mid motor bandit as a kit bash with a nitro rustler transmission. I would much rather have a transmission that uses the stock bandit gears. Are the internals of the trans all stock traxxas parts? Great work BTW i loves the V1 thread so ill be checking in here too.

It's getting closer. Have a lot of details left but its basically assembled. mostly parts I had laying around. The protech 2 body seemed to fit the best.

Got this the other day with my barn find. It's in really good shape even comes with the box and a how to VHS tape. Got to free up the engine and fix the linkage but it's all there.
