A lot of you must already know this, but I recently found a site that has the original Vette from the movie, and it says the Vette was most likely an RC10 DS, and was driven by Jammin' Jay Halsey!

Anyone here into tractor pulling? I have been anxious to get into some sort of local RC competition, but 1:8 buggy racing is out of my skill set, and everything else is just too far away to justify getting into. But, through a FBMP deal this...

It looks like Caswell may have a kit that would help.
I am not sure if this is just a degreaser, aluminum black and, a sealer.
Since the 3d10 thread has been hijacked / side-railed a bit by this topic, I thought I'd start a separate topic on the options for finding a differential for the SCX10 / Injora transmission.
These 2 threads had their take at finding a solution:...

I was about to order the Tamiya gear diff assembly (54471) and it suddenly occurred to me that the diff gear and side plate assembly is almost certainly too wide to fit the Austar/Injora case. That case is very narrow and closely hugs the gears. :(...

Has anyone taken advantage of the Reedy Upgrade Exchange Program? Looking through their list, all I'm really interested in is swapping out some old (even some new) low-end servos, maybe a motor, maybe an esc. Seems like doing this would be lots...

I have thought about it but like someone said the reward is almost nothing. I would rather hold on to the parts. You never know when they will come in handy.
How do you ship to Australia or New Zealand from the US? Do you just staple the package to a wombat or something? Apparently a couple of guys, presumably both named Bruce , want my Storm 2000.

Admittedly I don't have a lot of unicorn eyelash type stuff. But pretty sure when you can't find the thing for sale anywhere online, you can officially call it rare.
So... what do you think is the rarest R/C part you have?

Is there a way to adopt a b4 style top shaft to a 64 pitch for use with a thorp 64pitch gear set? Were the top shafts and idlers for the thorp 64pitch gt and rc10 stealth the same across kits?

It may be possible to press the gears off and swap them. I'm honestly not 100% sure though.
Are there any threads here on that? Would I just try and torch and hammer off the gear of a associated steel b4 top shaft? Are there any 'blank' b4 shafts?

Figured I'd show this off since I've not seen too many others. It came on my RC10GT (soon to be running?) And was painted a disgusting shade of neon yellow. Stripped it down with isopropyl alcohol, and I'm not really sure what to do with it now....

Has anyone here had to reduce their collections? Was it overall better for you,...
