Hey all, I picked up a JRX2 a couple weeks back originally with the intention of just restoring it but now I’ve decided to get her running in the local 17.5 class. First, a little backstory about myself: I started racing off road Production class...

v3 of my runner build is underway, using a Bezerk RC chassis this go around
I keep coming across this site while researching my reassembly effort so I thought I would make a few posts about it while I am at it.
It started life when my dad bought a Jrx pro se In I think 92 then decided that he needed a better one which...

That's cool. I don't think I trust my 3d printer to print parts like that though. What are you using? PLA? Printer?
PLA filament Anycubic Vyper. The 3d print is obviously not ideal but should work for what I'm doing at the moment. When I started...
I scraped my Jrx@ project for a something a bit more modern, a Pro SE. Thanks to Bearrickster for the body as well as the chassis for this build. I have a retro fit tranny that will be installed in this car. The shock bodies and motor plate were...

.... Man I need to get some new pics up don't I?
Jake
I love it the way related topics are suggested, no matter how old they are.
@ Jake, so were 12 years enough to make some newer pics?
I'm embracing the big ass battery idea.
Created some battery hold downs, swapped the 3d printed standoffs for aluminum ones, got some fresh JConcepts tires demounted and put onto a set of my Pro wheels.

Well, as the builds progress for the Pro and Pro SE, I am still locating parts. My Pro SE is complete with a completely restored slipper and hydra drive, but for my Pro I am looking to add a slipper that has a little more capacity...

Well, I ordered all the necessary parts already from all over the web and now i just need the A-3120 shaft. After that I should be ready to assemble. I ended up using an 86T Losi 22 Kevlar spur since the article says anything from a 22 will work. at...
I just joined today and appreciate having this be my first post of hopefully several. I have been in and out of RC since I was a young teen and now that I am 46, I feel like that young teen again working on my Pro SE. Long story...

I stripped and recoated the links and ball studs for my pro and pro se last night using a Caswell black oxide system. It works great as long as parts are thoroughly clean and dry.
Does anyone know a place where I could get titanium upgrades in...
Anyone know where I can find the really thin orings used inside the shock cap? I searched all over last night and found nothing. I think it’s same size for all Jrx models.
I came across this kit but wasn’t sure if it included the oring. Any help?...

Appreciate the dimensions. At the $5 for 50 price on Amazon, my great grandkids would have replacements. Thanks for the voice of reason.
I'm dusting off my Team Losi Junior T and I'd like to replace it's NICD ZipPak with a Li-ion battery preferably with a longer run time. Previously I remember getting 15 minutes or so of run time.

Hi Everyone,
I'm dusting off my Team Losi Junior T and I'd like to replace it's NICD ZipPak with a Li-ion battery preferably with a longer run time. Previously I remember getting 15 minutes or so of run time.
The machine cut decals for the xx and xxt are sorta scarce. I was fortunate to have found a pair in yellow and pink for the xxt 17 years ago. My question is, were those the only colors available
All i can find on the Google machine is this picture...

Pink and yellow XX and XXT was all they sold. I believe the team drivers got theirs cut in a variety of colors not available to the public.
I've put a request in the wanted section for some parts I need for a NIB LosiXX build - as a result i've been told of a possible source for some of them, however I need the part number for the Blue Trinity brace that goes across the inner hingepins...

14 years later, I hope he got an answer before this lol.
Does anyone know if the outer piece of a XXX-S and a XXX-4 Front axle are the same.
I know they have different part # in the manual ,but I'm thinking that's because they are sold as axle sets.
Thanks for any help.

Somewhat related question...
Does the JRX-S LCD rebuild kit fit the XXX-4 LCDs?
Looking at pics, the axle and bone interface look the same, but the JRX barrel looks much shorter. Is that an illusion because it is also thicker than the X4 version?
I bought this JRX-T from another forum member years ago - it may have been from Bearickster(?), I'm not entirely sure.
Anyhow, I never found the time to do anything with it, so I am making plans to sell it on to another member.
This model has a...

Brilliant! Thanks very much for the detailed response.
I am planning to use this on an LXT where the tower sits flush with the bulkhead, so this should bolt right on (after I massively enlarge the standoff holes to account for my poor measuring and...
I thought it would be great to have a STICKY thread here where everyone posts their favorite pictures of all their Losi vehicles. This can help make up for all the lost pictures from Photo bucket.

So I picked up another used Losi LXT. This one seems in decent shape over all with one major issue. The right rear driveshaft is broken/missing (pictures attached). I got a few accessories that included rear universal shafts and I think they...

You ordered the correct dogbone. The telescoping driveshafts can be used with the retrofit trans if you get the A-3095 outdrives.
Thank you!

Hello, I am looking for a replacement Ford focus body for my Losi Rally Weapon. I have read this body was made by Parma, so I am thinking other ford focus models may have used the same body. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Decided to take the Factory Works comical chassis out of it's bag and strap some parts to it. More to come later but since the parts car had JRX-T wheels on it decided to see how silly a Mini JRX-T body looks on it. fun fact it's almost the same...

Truck tires go well with a comical buggy. I'm confused though about this:

Keep the nose down? I think the goal should be just finding a way to keep it from...
So I recently got this Losi buggy that I am fixing up and it says JRX2 on the front of it in the plastic molding but it does not have the weird rear suspension arms of a JRX2. It guess it is pretty JRX Pro like but it does not have the big socks up...

Hey guys, I always had Kyosho RC cars growing up but I recently had a chance to get 2 Losi RC's and I was able to get both of them for a total of $100. I had to give them a try! They are by no means shelf queens but that is good because I am going...

Yep, looks like you'll need the longer spring as well then you should be good to go.
Ok been a long time, I’m on the FB some but figured I’d post a build thread here as I’ll have questions. I didn’t get into Losi until the XX car.

Here goes my first XX4 build. I recently bought Shoman24v's beautiful XX4. I have long since admired this build, and could not resist the chance to own it. It is a nearly all new build.

the only thing with the older buggy, is to work on them it a lot longer then the new buggy
I built this XX4 for a friend. I wasn't too concerned about having era correct equipment, but I loosely based it on something you may see in the early 2000's. I mostly just built it to what I thought looked nice.
I was building a pair of runners from several incomplete cars and my used parts stash and noticed some variations among the parts.
There are 3 types of rear bulkhead. The upper left one has been hacked up by the previous owner, but you can see on...

Early shocks also had a longer 'tab' on top, with the hole closer to the upper portion (not centered top to bottom). I don't have a picture as a comparison.
Hello gentlemen!

Not going to be much more newbie than this series of questions.

So x2 and xT have same rear bulkhead but the x2 has wing tubes? Thats the only difference?
Yes, they're both the same part. The wing tubes just press in.
Picked these up but no nothing about them. What years were these made, how rare are they, were they a decent shock?

Since nobody mentioned a date, these are in a Trinity 1992 catalog. I'd need to dig more to see if they came out earlier. I do know that Trinity had blue ano Clod shocks back in 1990, but they have a different design.
Picked up a very rough JRXT I’m working on restoring for a runner and it has a retrofit trans which is cool, but what does everyone do for the rear body mount?
The parts gathering for this build has achieved a critical mass and is ready for some assembly.
