Hey guys, I have been a bit hard on my 60+ mph Kyosho Turbo Raider and I need some new parts for the gold shocks. I broke on of the links that screws the bottom of the shock to the suspension arm.
Does anyone know where I can find a new one? Might...

Yes the ot210bk work on the gold shocks
Ot210bk (bk for black)
Ot210r (R for red)
Replacement seals are org03bk
And diaphragms are w6006
At least that’s the part numbers I use to rebuild my golds IMG_5866.jpeg
Here is a dedicated post with pictures of the winning 2WD machine from 1987 from my visit to the Kyosho booth.
The original JJ modified Kyosho Ultima and the trophy.

I have a old Ultima I have fixed up, and now i am looking for tires for it.
My Hobby store said I will never find tire for it unless I went to ebay and spent a arm and a leg.
My best bet was to order a set of updated wheels and tires for it so I...

Tamiya Supershot or Hotshot rear tires should be close.
According to the old Duratrax listing, they were ~1.9 . I put some on 2 wheels and they were very tight.
Im new here, I just get locally this rare bird apparently, Kyosho Fantom 20 Exp 3P 1/8, In very good condition, just dirt for years in a closet storage, I actually bought it just for the OS Max .21 motor that I need for another project, my...
I am curious about other folks' experience with aftermarket part quality for modern Kyosho models, more specifically the re-re Optima Mid. For example I am looking at CVD's for my re-re Mid. I see EXO Design and Koswork both make these. I have no...

Thanks for the reply on the EXO axles and other parts. CVA axles are the type of part where I would think soft metal or sloppy machining could quickly ruin your day. I plan to run brushless in the Mid and think these axles would be a good...
Last Saturday I went to the rc store to buy a new glow plug and fuel line, I wasn't look for anything in particular, The owner is an old guy, a little bit grumpy, for some reason he start a simple chat, asking me why do I need a glow plug, he told...

Nice project. How is the progress going? I also went this route, seeing how far I could goldify my original Gold Celebration Optima chassis with every piece of gold anodized hardware I could find...including a gold screw set! 8)
I bought this truck a long time ago with no idea what I’d do with it other than clean it up one day. Well the purchase of one exhaust manifold for a wrong car later I’ve got an idea.
An early race truck build on a budget chassis……

I need to get back on this. I just know the chassis is going to be a lot of work and I’m procrastinating.
I have an old Ocean 500 that was in 2 pieces in my basement for 20 years or so. The hull and the sail.
I have no idea how to re-rig it.
Does anyone have a copy of the manual, or, know where I can get my hands on one?
Ever since I was a kid, I was underwhelmed with the top end speed of my Turbo Raider. I saved my money and ditched the LeMans 05 stock engine after a while in favor of a Revtech 15x4 turn motor and it was better but still not great. The car...

Not planned. Not within budget, but with a price that you cant turn down.

I bought the Maxxum FF back in the day. I was 14 when it came out. Wow, that makes me feel old... It was a weird little car. Nobody knew what class to put it in. It handled more like a 4WD in a lot of ways, but was faster (on the right tracks). So...
Does OT-56 Aluminium Tapping Screw Set include those 4 M2.6x8 screws that holds servo mount (part number 90)?

It looks like Kyosho used to sell a pack of M2.6 x 8 thread forming screws, for reference. Kyosho Par Number 1-S02608TP, or KYO1-S02608TP for online resellers.
Hey guys, I have an original 80s javelin that I'm rebuilding to be a runner. I got this in the late 80s and I don't think I was able to drive it that much until the MSC shorted out. Went into storage after that. I've read that the original gears are...

If we all step back and remember what it was exactly that made R/C so immediately fascinating, most of us would probably say it was a level of realism involved. Both Kyosho & Tamiya gave us the chance to feel what real racing was all about, but it’s...
