Damn long name... Thanks to Eau Rouge for first dibs on the car. I've located a bunch of nib parts (chassis, chain drive parts, alloy hardware set, etc) incredibly quickly as well as the manual and parts list, it's all about being resourceful......

If I ever do get around to building the new one I have, I certainly wouldn't try to paint it myself.

the fantom EXT came with the crc II body or BW spider and both of them are soooo goood loooking compared to the stock body
I have just purchased a decent Cox Gallop MK I and was wondering if the models that had the gold shocks instead of the bare aluminum ones are hiding any other changes from the earlier model. I take it this model was near the end of the production...

My son broke out my Kyosho Gallop MK1 I picked up at a garage sale some 15 years ago. He is bugging me about getting it working, but I keep telling him that he really ought to sell it cheap and put the money into a more modern car. It needs a front...
My Turbo Raid LOVES LIPO. I have a 4,200 and 4,600 mah shorty LIPO battery and they fit perfect (after a little help from my Dremel tool. As the Raider's motor is on the left of the car though, the car was really unbalanced if I put the shorty LIPO...
I need to replace the dogbone pins as it seems Kyosho stopped making the OT-6/92645 units and I don't feel like spend a ton. In this video, the show how to replace them with a vice and a 5/32nd socket (2nd half of the video)....

Just measured a rere Ultima and Optima....getting 62.5mm pin to pin on both
Thanks for doing that. So the OT-6 dogbones were $6 up until recently. I love how they now renamed them and charge $11!
Does anyone know if there is a different part number for a different car that is a substitute for the RK-21 joints . The ones in my Turbo Raider need to be replaced and they are hard to come by!
I am trying to find some information on the Kyosho ZXS cars, looking for review, track reports etc, worlds results, the Evo model was run at the 2001 W/C ( run in 2002)
any information would be much appreciated s-l500.jpg
I know I’m 20 years behind, but I am struggling on finding wheels to update my Kyosho Pro. I would like to keep the original chassis and axles, are there any 1 for 1 replacements for the 1.9 wheels so I can run UM754 and Um755’s?

Hi
May be some use, i found the pepper pot style kyosho reproduction wheels in the UK
They look the same pattern as 1.9 wheels of the era, but accomodate the 2.2 tyres available now.
Got some for my rocky and laser projects,
Good luck.

Hello, I've just joined this forum as I'm trying to resurrect my old Lazer ZX-RR. I've most of the info I need from this and other forums, but I have some broken/worn parts for the RR variant that I was hoping someone could help me with!

Here it is with the cap off, hopefully you can access this, shared from google drive.
I don't know the thread size other than it isn't M12, as the shaft without the thread is 12.1mm. The outer diameter of the thread is 12.9mm. 1/2 maybe? Is that a...
The Kyosho Icarus is a 2WD entry-level RC car from the year 1985/1986. It has the same chassis as the Pegasus, Cosmo and Cox Bandido. The original motor is the 360ST, size 550, 22 turns - 22,000 rpm and it has independent suspension on four wheels...

I still have my Cox Bandido, yet another variation of this chassis. Even though they are from the mid 80's, I picked mine up on clearance in the early 90's.
I chose to keep the msc in mine as I don't really have much intention on running it. It...
Just acquired this . its from all the way back in the 80s, me and my brother raced against it often at our local track so we were stoked to score it. He ran it mostly in oval modified with a vette body so we are gonna to a full Kyosho Salute...

Looks great. That body does give it a unique look for an Optima. Hope it's a bloody rippah! 8)
Bitd..I always wanted one of these and finally found a clean mk 1 version for a good price. It has light-medium wear, a few missing pieces, modifications and repairs..but very nice overall. The body is a well done box art scheme from 2017. I have...

Man these are my favorite cars. Im working on building my collection around the variations of the Lazer. I always thought they were the coolest looking cars from ~`90. Did you score this locally?
I was finally able to get some restoration done on some incomplete Le Mans motors I had stashed in a Ziploc bag, with a big thanks and shout-out to Craig from New Zealand, cas22 on the forum. We traded some parts and what came my way--after a nearly...

For me, it's the 240SB. It's an absolute beast, I consider it the top dog, performance-wise, of the classic Le Mans motors. But I hear you, the brown anodized aluminum isn't quite as eye-catching as the red 240S. 8)
My friend was nice enough to give me his childhood Salute which is in remarkable condition for its age. Some basic cleaning and some choice option house upgrades and modern ESC should be it. I think I will keep the cool Lemans gold motor and suspect...

I was given this by an old friend, and am trying to find any info about it. Looks like a Dirt-Road 10. Thankfully, it looks fairly complete. I dont know what my plans are for it yet, but most likely I'll clean it up and it will be a shelf queen. Any...

Well it definitely has value which is what someone would be willing to pay. Keep an eye on eBay for what ones go for. Judging by the pictures, it appears to be in a pretty poor state but looks to be mostly complete and original minus the body. Once...
I was not lucky enough to get my hands on a mint & original Zx-s evo' so, 2 years ago, to achieve my little collection of Lazer family (from Lazer ZX to Zx-7), I had the absurd idea to collect Zx-s parts on internet, after seeing Fibre-Lyte...
Here’s another truck I’ve had stowed away for a while now. Mainly just waiting on a few parts. The truck itself is a very low use “survivor”. The original tires were extremely flat and dry rotten. The original body was horribly painted and the...

I have good childhood memories as well with the Tracker. It was my brothers first real RC the same Christmas I got my Inferno 10....

Been working on this project for a few weeks and nearly ready to start making chassis parts.

I’ve just acquired an OS Max 21 EX to fit into my Turbo Burns but it needs a new connecting rod.

Along side my Pro XL resurrection, I will also be getting my ZX-R back up and running. I have several motors at my disposal, but I want to use the one that has the most torque. Reason being, I will likely be using a 91t spur (stock is 100t) and with...

Creating a separate thread so I don't hijack the Fantom Re-Re thread; I noticed Kyosho USA has the listing for the Le Mans 480T active, now. Though, they're not in stock .

I have no upper deck.

The Stock versions had the following winds: 11 turn double up to 19 turn double and 23 turn single.
The Modified versions had the following winds: 10 turn triple to 17 turn triple. All modifieds were triples.
This might be more suited to the body and paint shop, but I want to hear from fellow Kyoshoaholics.
