Not that we have tons of new members each day, but we thought we would restructure this forum a little bit and use this spot for new members to introduce themselves.
Well, I recently caught the bug after my Dad and I saw the 40th RC10. I just had to have a vintage gold pan too and then the rabbit hole of various editions. I went a little crazy and bought 2 a pretty mint Cadillac and a RC10 Graphite that I think...

Welcome dude, great buys. Looks like you know how to pick them 8)
Hello from Frankfurt,
I haven't raced RC for almost 8 years but recently felt the urge to build/restore something from the old days like an RC10.
So here I am, officially a newbie lol

Welcome on board sir! Look forward to seeing your build(s)!
Hi RC people. Got back into RC this past year after about 40 years as my kids are about the age I was when I convinced my parents to buy me a used Hornet, which was my pride and joy.
This past year I got Grasshopper->Hornet->Frog->TT02-BR->XV-01....

The outdrive bearing mod is actually adding bearings in a location that the 6 gear doesn't normally have bearings.
Do you have pictures of this?
Instead of an outer support bearing, each 6 gear outdrive has interal bearings and an outer felt...
Thank you for adding me. I looking forward to participating. Been in the hobby for over 30 years with the occasional break from live and ex wives etc lol. I am a Tamiya collector but have always wanted to build an RC10. Recently I was able to pick...

My workspace has been over run with stuff for a yard sale that has never happened. Hopefully soon we will be able to get my work space back and I can separate my RC Stuff, Reloading stuff, Train stuff and another type of stuff that goes with the...
Hello Everybody. I've been into R/C since I was a kid (80s), but never really got into hobby grade vehicles until the early 90s. I took a long break for about 10 years, got back into it, then took another long break until now.
Just picked up a gold...

Thanks guys. The JRX2 was an Ebay score from Mr Lexan. I dont know if he is a member here, or not. It is in great shape.
The JRXT was a local find...the guy was cleaning out his garage, and just kept handing me extra stuff to go with it. :D I...
Long time lurker here; finally joined. Like so many others, I'm getting back into RC after leaving the hobby in the 90's. I found some Tamiya rere kits for cheap around Xmas and picked-up a couple of Grasshopper II's for our two boys. A cheap...
Im so glad i found this forum. Have two original B1’s and dad, brother and me are all RC 10 nuts.
Started with Bolink speedway cars, then some screamer 10L’s too.
Currently restoring my favorite car of all time. The 1993 RC10!
Got back into RCing a couple months ago. Had the B4.2 and a T4.1 (that I converted into a T4 from a SC10 chassis). Sold all of that years ago and am now just getting back in. For nostalgia purposes I decided to get another B4.

Hello, I'm new to the forum and have been out of RC for a long while and want to get back into it just for street and skate park running. I've got my A stamp RC10 and 5 RC10T's, 3 early and 2 later trucks. I'll be upgrading to lipo's and will use...

I'd be running 2s, at least at first. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi folks, just thought I would introduce myself.
Been racing since the late 1980's and finally getting my back catalogue back together of my favourite cars.
Just picked up this B3 and B4. I used to race a B3 back in the day at the regional's and...

Is that scheme painted on that gold RC10? It looks great, and really stands out from all the derivative copycat paint jobs out there.
Yeah it is painted. its a shame but I will have to race with that shell. I have another new one but I can going...
Now that my kids are old enough, I pulled out my old RC10 from the late 1980's for some fun. I was surprised and pleased to find that there are so many fans of the car still out there!
After a little tinkering and a new battery,...

Welcome! I personally think that's probably a rare valuable chassis. I've never seen one in person, and maybe just once searching thos site. Your buggy has some nice front suspension arms too. For some general use, probably should be disassembled...
I used to race as a teenager back in the day in El Paso, Texas. My first car was a Tamiya Superchamp, then I got an RC10 right when it came out. My dad lived in SoCal in the 80s, so when I would visit he would take me to all the OG tracks...

Here is the CAT.
Coincidentally, I painted a Cougar in that color, and put the same decals in pretty much the same places
I have a collection of Tycos and Nikkos. I have accounts on most major RC sites but no one seems to care about Tycos and Nikkos.
I collect only Tyco and Nikko cars because they were fast and interesting grade of RC model which I had when a...
Hi everyone. Like many kids growing up in the 80s, I dreamed of owning the ultimate race buggy, an RC10. I've messed around with modern RC cars with my kids, but they don't have the same feel of the vintage cars.
I'm a new member here and looking forward to be part of the community.
I started with a Tamiya Falcon in the mid-late 1980's and have been in and out of the hobby ever since. I still have a 6-gear, gold pan RC10 with a truck conversion that I never...
Hi everyone. I found this looking around for info on the RC10CC mainly. I saw a press release and thought it would be a neat shelf piece so I'm on the preorder list for it. I've got an old Reedy Competition Stock motor and a NER-3FM receiver I found...

Which killer Bs inspired your nickname?
It's just an old baseball reference and I've been using the name for a really long time.
I can never complain about a collection of group B rally cars though. Definitely my favorite group of rally cars.
Hi all. Glad to have found this site, I have a few vintage RC's that I dug out recently, and I need 30 meaningful posts in order to request an extremely hard to find part, or to get in to the B/S/T.
Like so many here, I started my RC journey in the late 70's with a Tamiya Lotus 79 John Player Special pan car, was into RC cars and boats big time back in the 80's and early 90's with several scale model boats and countless on road...

Very nice, yea a complete all white UM-RC10 is now widely considered a pretty rare piece to have. Maybe just some light occasional running sans the cartwheeling
Well, I am a old guy that just keeps messing around with RC stuff.
Found my old RC-10 and RC-10T, both pretty old.
In fact, the RC-10 is so old it still had the mechanical wiper speed control on it.
Controllers were lost in...

I’ve been lurking here for quite a while and finally thought it’s time to join. This hobby started for me in the early 90’s with a Traxxas Hawk 2, racing and upgrading that truck to Blue Eagle specs hooked me for life. S&K Racing was in...

Given the retro gaming market you could likely trade that PS2 for a Losi again.
Sounds like you have a lot of projects to work though. It'll be great to see how they progress.

Welcome sir! You have definitely stumbled across a centralized knowledge base of all things RC10 related, thank you for taking the time to join the community.
