For me, it's just something else to amuse myself with. I like building and tinkering with stuff, and this fits perfectly.

Out of curiosity, why? If running standard 7.2v 6-cell NIMH packs, they make 2S Lipo packs that are almost direct replacements from a size and appearance standpoint.

The JR plug will plug into a Futaba J slot. The white wire goes to the side with the tap.
