XX Kinwald Edition fully Trinity tuned
Before starting my XX 1997 World Champ Brian Kinwald replica car, I need to train my mind on the Losi products, and especially on the XX after too many RC10 projects.
Enjoy

That is amazing. I loveem all, but the XX is one of my favorite, that's the car that won me the most races. I would love a XX like this one. I am still running my gen 1 XX with the hydra drive slipper. Nice choice to start back with Losi, and if you decide to run it, the XX can still hold it's own. If you have any extra of those Trinity parts let me know, I might be interested.

Lovely work as usual Kenooze.....DHC6 wrote:That is amazing. I loveem all, but the XX is one of my favorite, that's the car that won me the most races. I would love a XX like this one. Same here DHC6... the XX is my personal favourite 2wd off road buggy, it may not have the character of earlier cars (RC10, JRx2 etc) but it was the car I had the most success with, & the car I ran for the longest period of time. It was such a stable yet nimble car to drive, I really think Losi nailed the 1/10th 2wd design with this car... so much so that I don't think its ever been bettered? I certainly prefer the XX handling over the XXX.
Cedric, where abouts do you get all the lovely parts for your projects... do you scour the internet & ebay like I guess most of us do? Or is there an abundance of model shops in France with lots of old stock??

Very nice! Could you tell me what camera/settings you used for those pictures? I love the look of them.

Any chance of re-uploading some of the pics, only one shows now, looks like a great car...
Is that front shock tower a trinity item too? I am after one for my XX project, yet to find one.
You have an amazing collection of cars, such a high standard too!

I know it's been a while since you posted this thread, but this is the first time I saw it. That's a beautiful car, kenooze! I love cars that have all the performance mods but also manage to look clean & fantastic.
