Goodies for my shelfqueen JRX2

I have certainly made up my mind about soldering the car up in a RTR fashion. I cut the body out last night and it came out amazing. I spent almost 2 hours trimming and dremmeling to make it flawless. I spent a lot of time test fitting to make sure the hole cuts were perfect. It is amazing how far off the marks are, for the three holes in the rear (body post and wing holes).

The only issues I have with the body, is that there is a defect along the very bottom of the skirt where it comes to the chassis... looks like maybe some air got underneith the lexan on the molding machine or something, so it's kind of wrinkly. It's not THAT big, but certainly big enough to notice... about a quarter inch high, and about an inch long, right on the bottom. Either way, its still better than using a replica body IMO... I have one of those as well and will use it on a runner. This original body goes out today to get painted. I'm using Jim from WED, and he is going to paint it to match the box art of the original red and yellow jrx2.

I got the motor in, the receiver/antenna/tube in, and the servo in. The only thing I need now, are battery bars, battery shrink wrap, a mint Novak T-4, an original wing, and an original dust cover.

One more thing I need a little bit of help with, is how to wire up the T-4 (once i get it) to the battery. The entire rear cell is encased under the rear shock tower, and the entire front cell is encased under the battery strap/box. How would you recommend connecting it to the battery? Just solder the ESC wire directly to the ends of the cells? Would the battery still fit that way?
