Losi Street Weapon
Re: Losi Street Weapon
So a bit of an update on the Street Weapon!
Still got a few items to cover off, but I managed to find a nice Trinity motor clamp from a member on this Forum. I also had to purchase some new front threaded shock bodies and shock shafts as the ones I had were the extra short .28" from the XXX-S, not the .36" needed for the Street Weapon with the standard front shock tower.
I also replaced out the standard front steel turnbuckles with a NIP set of Lunsford items (ill replace the rears when I get time)!
Next up was electronics, I had a Tekin RS and Redline 13.5t motor which slotted in well, and a spare Spektrum 6040 Servo and ESC. Powered it all up and gave it a tune and it seems to work well.
The battery straps needed some dremelling as they were only suited for NiCd / NiMh from back in the day, but otherwise the saddle Lipo's just fit in!
Last couple of jobs is set camber, ride height and toe and then wheel it around the track!
Oh Yeah - if anyone see's a Cyrul conversion kit for sale, let me know

Funny how much that drive train looks like my 22-4! I guess Losi just ran out of ideas.
They asked me what I was thinking!? I simply told them... I wasn't.

You're right about that! Great car man. Keep up the good work.
